now that i read the chapter...i think that you cant compare one chakra affinity to another! the 3rd raikage has to be weak against fuuton rasenshuriken but he isnt...because he put that much power in his lightning armor that no technique can harm him. that means that every chakra affinity could beat another. i dont like it! and now stupid biju bomb. i bet that killerbee will appear, going into full tailed beast mode and kick raikage back to the dead.

@12 Remeber that Kakashi said that the next generation always surprass the old generation. Probably The third Raikage is probably one of the strongest kage, maybe even the first hokage, but Naruto is going be the next hokage, of course he had to surprass the Third Raikage, like he did surprass A in speed.

Is that a translation error on the final note? I thought he's the 3rd raikage? Naruto needs to learn a sealing tech like daddy. Bijudama n rasenshuriken is just not enough.

Actually the rasenshuriken may have dealt severe damage at a molecular level, but the effects of the Edo-tensei may have come into play. Also Kabuto is forcing the Raikage to fight even if his body is damaged severely, as suggested by that cloud nin the change in the look of his eyes.
Still the third Raikage was one badass shinobi.

true that he said that but look at it this way the sand village said the thrid kazkage was the strongest they had then the third hokage was know for "god of shionbi" the third raikage took on the eight tails and 10,000 people the oonki had dust element and has not been replaced. we dont know anything about the mist village third but all I'm saying is the "third kages" not the "fourth kages" is the real line to surpass. I also think naruto, gaara, will do that but i dont know about the rock village,mist,cloud but I look forward to it.

I'm thinking that the amount of chakra used is correlated with whether nature affinity does any damage.

Reminds me of Pokemon/Final Fantasy/etc games where a level 100 character can still defeat a level 20 opponent irrelevant of the ineffective attack.

Also, I think it's contended that given the little level of chakra needed in a chidori to penetrate a Biju level of lightning armor is a feat in itself (credit to Sasuke). Naruto's Rasenshruriken actually destroyed and mortally wounded the Third Raikage whereas the 8tails only left a Harry potter scar.

Of course Kyubi was affected by Rasen Shuriken and so was Raikage [He was on the ground...lol...] It just didn't have any "damaging" effect on him [Like the Kyubi]...

@Matze 14.... Erm... It wasn't the Lightening Armor that protected Raikage...lol... The lightening armor was totally dispelled by Fuuton Rasengan... It was Raikage's very stubborn hard core body that protected him... :D

I think you're right because the other Edo Tensei that Naruto hit with a rasengan was able to be sealed.

The Edo Tenseis probably have to be severely damaged so their bodies have to reconstruct the parts being destoyed and that will give the shinobis time to seal the Edo Tenseis

naruto is becoming lame,.,the manga lack elements..wth!
strongest raikage [will be] beaten by a newbie-perfect jinchuriki..do not focus much to naruto..lately, i am annoyed by his attitude...why not focus a little to supporting characters,,like ino, sakura, etc..show something new and cool not something new but lame and impossible on many levels..
Plus, i think a new character from the good side like a guy from other country that will be most likely to appear occasionally like sai.

Glad narutos FRS was an epic fail and he that he had to retreat.. it shows he still has far to go..
Narutos first attempt at a bijuu dama will fail but he as his new moves usually do in battle. but after he finds a second chance to land it, he will win.

Also naruto actually analyzed something for himself, realising the raikages scar so he figured out he must have been hit by something..

I also think thats possible..If naruto is using the biju dama already, then its not inconceivable that by the time he fights madara/sasuke he will NEED to add wind to the attack as a way of surpassing bees own biju damma.

REALLY??!!

kirigakure: mizukage with lava release.
uwagakure: kurotsuchi and roshi with lava release.
kumogakure: this Dodai guy with the eye patch.

Lava release surely is becoming some cheap kekkei genkai.

Sunagakure has a woman with scorch release, wich is slightly different but its basicly burning stuff away with your kekkei genkai as well.

Waiting for konoha to join the fire kekkei genkai crew and burning things away. Oh wait lol, sasuke with blaze release and itachi with amaterasu xD.

Now kishi can do something awesome with this dodai guy.
Give him the byakugan in his left eye, under the eye patch.
Ao has a eye patch in his right eye and a byakugan behind it.
Than show the flashback of the hyuuga who lost his eyes.
Introduce some hyuuga stuff.
I am not even a hyuuga fan, but they are really starting to fade away from the story.

naruto will not learn different attacks than rasengans.

Why?

Its the strongest shape + nature manipulation attack around.
He can use them as easy as someone else throws a kunai.
It barely cost him any effort. Using weaker attacks is out of the question, if he can use these rasengans like its nothing.
The only reason to use a weaker attack is to capture someone or in sparring. He can use speed, taijutsu and really small normal rasengans for that.

Back when rasen shuriken was hard to do in sage mode and had a limit in amount, it was useful to learn a variation of weaker attacks.
Not anymore though. It probably takes naruto more effort to fart than to create rasenshuriken xD. That says a lot.

New elemental attacks, not based on some form of rasengan will not happen. The only difference might be a new element, but it will fuse with rasengan as well.

Yin/yang attacks might add something to the rasengan attacks.

Fusing wind in a weapon will be pointless too right now. Just throw some rasengan attack instead or use kyuubi arms.

Rasengan + element=Srank+ or higher and he just uses it like its superdupereasy. I dont like that. It used to be something hard that noone could do, not even minato and which was maybe even impossible to do.

use ur sense,---wen jiraya used massive resengun against pain, wat was the speed n time interval, i say not even a half sec

n wen naruto uses rasengun,lol he waste 2 sec in making clone,1 sec inputting their hand,3 sec in shoutttin n making resengun n last 2 more sec over showing n shouting RAAAAASEUNGGGGGGGGGGGUNNNNNNNNNNN xd

so u c rasengun is waste of time 4 narito until he learn how 2 form it with a single hand

naruto almost took 8sec n jiraya took half, still tat shows he suck n if he wan2 2 repeat the same technique again n again atleast improve it like sasgay

During elemental training with Naruto Kakashi said that wind would beat lightning or water would beat fire but ONLY if they were the same level technique. If wind and lightning of the same level clashed then wind would win. Or, the same with fire and water.

Conversely, a low level water technique could lose against a super-uber powerful firesyle. Also a deadly lightning attack could beat a wind element attack provided that the lightning attack is strong enough. It all has to do with how much power each ninja puts into their technique.

this manga is starting to truly suck i mean i kno its called naruto but it revolves entirly too much around him.
I really wanna see naruto fade into the background for at least 35 comics so we can catch up on more immportant.
things like sauske in action seeing his new jutsus n new abuilities he has gained with ems maybe have him take on tobi and the new six paths
also findin out wat the hell ever happened to the rest of team taka n finding out where the f@#k rock lee is havent seen him in like 50 comics honestly naruto needs to take a seat somewhere so this magna can actually be worth my time

@36 your abit harsh but u got a point, someone like darui should have more input, a guy like chojuru should also come into play as a new swordsman.
neji needs to suddently show hes been training whit asuma, and has developed a new version Senjusatsu(tousand hand murder, the buda like jutsu), i belive kishi is shooting him self alittle in foot, considering he has material for so much anime/manga but he seems to be skipping over alot of good things atm.

we still need kakashi fight aswell!

@46 i find your statement a tad amusing, u say its way to much about naruto and your right.
but man common its just as much about sasuke, sounds to me like your another fanboy just wanting to see more of sasuke, we have now seen how other cities have there own very strong ninjas.
so if the story shoud evolve like say its should be about someone else beside sasuke and naruto, unless off course u wanna put other strong ninja up agaisnt sasuke and see there abilities that way.
but i fear that would only mean there dead, due to sasukes new abilties.

kabuto: so itachi you finaly arived, dont worry im well prepaired.

voice in the darkness: itachi! what are you talking about.

sasuke steps out of the shadow.....

Kabuto: so it has come to this sasuke kun.

scene switches to itachi...

scene switches back to kabuto and sasuke..

itachi arives.....

itachi: it doesnt matter anymore sasuke, pls stay out of this i need to take care of this guy.

kabuto grins whit a half smile on hes lips.

itachi: ? whats whit the smurk, why are you so confident, you should be aware you stand no chance agaisnt either of us.

kabuto jumps backwards, and performs a few hand signs...

kabuto: edo tensei!
..the ground crumbles as two caskets apear, the lids slowly slide to each side..

kabuto: alow me to reunite the family.

sasuke: !

itachi: mom, dad!

kabuto: perhaps now you can explain why you killed your clan, kabuto grins at itachi.

fugaku uchiha: im afraid you have been missinformed orochimaru clone.

mikoto uchiha: itachi didnt killl hes clan members, i did!

konoha, the city we helped create was holding us down, so we decided to strike back.

mikoto uchiha: enough of your bable fugaku, your father wanted to kill my best friend, and her husband.

mikoto uchiha: he wanted to take over konoha in alliance whit another powerfull uchiha.

sasuke: uchiha madara?

itachi: sasuke is whit madara now.

a voice fromm the shadow: sasuke you been a bad boy.
madara steps outa of the shadow...

scene switches to kabuto..

kabuto thinking: interesting development, i think im just gonna let them work things out, this could be helpfull agaisnt him!

scene switchs back to sasuke and itachi...

madara thinking what do we have here, as he looks around in shock, what is kabuto trying to pull.

madara: as much as i wanna kill kabuto right now, im happy to see my grandchild one last time.

sasuke and itachi stands back shocked...

madara: and i happy to see, that anoying little brother of yours isnt around.

sasuke: what is he talking about!

mikoto uchiha: hes talking about me, and my little brother shisui.

mikoto uchiha: your father didnt become head of the uchiha because of hes own strengt.

mikoto uchiha: he did so because he was my husband, and i was the grand daughter of uchiha madara.

so next chapter we will see naruto defeat the raikage and gaara and tsuchikage will fight edo mizukage. i think that fight will end 1 chapter later, so we can expect this whole desert battle with the edo kages to last another 2 or 3 chapters. unless if muu comes back 0.0

...mikoto summons five small versions of her susano, they instantly launge towards madara....

madara: preta path!

madara quickly absorbs the susano bunshin.

madara: prepare to meet the 6 paths of uchiha madara!

yoshi pain: lavarelease! flaming arrow missiles!
yoshi pain sends a huge wave of lava followed by missiles towards mikoto.

itachi flickers infront of hes mom, and blocks the full attack whit yata mirror.

sasuke: ameteratsu spear!

sasukes launches a spear of black flames towards yoshi pain, and strikes him the chest before he moves and inch,
yoshi pain slowly start to regenerate.

itachi strikes at madara whit tosuka sword.

madara: shinra tensei!

itachi is seen flying trew the air, untill hes gets a hold of a large rockformation whit hes susano.

Han pain is seen floating above the others in a buble.

Han pain: summon Giant Drill-Beaked Bird! summon Giant Multi Headed Dog!

sasuke: ameteratsu!

itachi: ametaratsu!

sasuke hits the Giant bird, wich is seen plunching to the ground engoulfed in flames.

itachis ameteratsu hits the buble Han is standing in, but he mearly steps into another, before being hit by the flames.

yagura pain suddently apears behind fugaku uchiha.

yagura pain: human path!
fugakus soul is slowly being drawn out,
mikoto flickers and stabs yagura trew the chest, but she apears to have been to late, as fugaku start to peal away.

fugaku uchiha: boys my contribution to the uchiha have been nothing but a big mess.

fugaku uchiha: help your mother end this, im truly sorry mikoto.

yagura pain is seen whit the spear trew hes chest, the earth rumbles and starts to envelop hes body, mikoto flickers and quickly places a seal on the pile of rocks.

sasuke: mom are you earth affinity?

mikoto uchiha: no sasuke that was the power of the heavenly jewelled spear.

mikoto uchiha: it has the power to change the landscape, it doesnt use any specific affinity, it relies on all of em, and combines ying and yang chakra.

han pain seems to have vanished.

itachi: damn madara used the chance to escape, sasuke i need to know whats on your mind, before we head any further.

itachi : i cannot let you attack the city of Konoha, that our mother and i have sacrificed everything to protect.

sasuke: hmmmm........

......................................................... figured id repost my prediction since its still possible, il try to continue it later, for those interested.

sasuke seems shocked, but then starts to smile.

sasuke: hehe well that's what itachi said when i got cought in he's tsykyomi.

mikoto apears to be in deep tought.

mikoto uchiha: something seems off, did you take your brother eye's!

itachi: no mom its not like that, and we dont have time to go into that now.

mikoto uchiha: u know your not the only one whit eternal mangekyo sharingan sasuke kun.

sasuke & itachi are stunned!

mikoto uchiha: the day your dad and i got married, he gave me hes newly developed mangekyo, and insted tranplanted uchiha kagami's tre turmoe sharingan insted.

mikoto uchiha: this was the dying wish of your farthers, hes older brother, he wanted him to have hes eyes, and your father wanted me to have hes.

Yet another Lava releaser. I kinda want to know what's the link.
I didn't like the chapter. I wonder what the hell is kishi doing. Rasenshuriken should have made the Raikage into shreds, I'll give in the fact he is an Edo-tensei summon, but... The outcome was plain ridiculous, a human shield? Come on...

I am really shocked that RasenShuriken didnt work !! and Naruto was quite Adept into landing the blow !!

So WHY IS IT,

That Sasuke's Amaterasu can pierce the 4th Raikage's Lightning clad Armor.

While

Narutos RasenShuriken, Which has the most powerful form of Shape Manipulation PLUS Wind nature jammed into it, AND we all know that WIND BEATS LIGHTING,
YET the 3rd Raikage STILL is unaffected by the jutsu !!

FREAKING A.

And now Sasuke has some new Flashy eyes, So WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH MORE POWERFUL he is now.



Poor Naruto EVEN WITH ALLL the power ups he's gotten from the Kyuubi, I am really unsure if he can hold his own against Sasuke now!! Nevermind dealing with Madara!!


I think Naruto better have some Fancy new Talk No Jutsu for Sasuke, Because it is becoming more and more obvious that the ONLY way Naruto stands a Chance at beating Madara is with Sasuke's help!! ( This is also probably the only way that Sasuke can redeem himself with Konoha by Helping Naruto)

id hate to see it used like a rasengan, i mean its one of the sickest long range attacks ever, if and only if it had to be like rasengan.
then i would like it to be like blast technic, and considering hes chakra cloak i guess that could also be usefull.

tbh i cant realy say why it didnt work, and why sasukes ameteratsu does, so faar those black flames seems only to be beaten by seals, or the user it self.

those flames combined whit susanoo and tsykoymi just seems like sasuke is quite powerfull allready.

im actualy rooting that kishi only makes the ems give sasuke eternal light since he seems to already get hes own and itachi abilities.

Hope kishi continues the greatness of the previous chapters and not the lameness of this one.

Here we go... another week of waiting.

Finally we get to see Naruto use the tailed beast bomb, maybe. Will Naruto be able to take out two of the previous kages in three chapters?

I wonder if Naruto will eventually try to use a third arm to mix in wind with the tailed beast bomb? Since it is like rasengan maybe he will be able to do it someday, it will most likely be the most powerful move in the ninja world if he does.

What would the show be if Naruto didn't show the tailed beast bomb, the thing he had been training for? I know you have to show the Bijuu Bomb, but it would have been cool to see naruto use speed and analysis like Itachi or Minato (i know) against the 3rd Raikage and maybe use his kunai or his hand the way Raikage or Sasuke uses their lightning and sharpen and focus the wind to one point in his hand and try to pierce through the Raikages armor. Which makes me wonder if the Raikages can use the lightning element for armor, than Naruto, if he has time, could learn how to use his wind to surround his body with and use that as his own armor, maybe he could use it to fly too.

I want to see Naruto get another element. Imagine him getting lightning and mixing it with the Rasen Shuriken. We already know, (for the people who are tired of rasengan) Naruto has the ability to learn almost any ninjutsu he wants, but when does he ever have the time to study and learn other great ninjutsu? And if he ever does get the time he'll probably try to elevate and master what he already has as much as he can to perfection, then he would move on to other ninjutsu.

The thing with Sasuke has got me anxious, after Narutos battle with the 3rd Raikage i want to see more of what he is capable of with his new eyes and i'm also anxious if Itachi will run into Sasuke (you never know, it could happen).

No way he will use it like a rasengan. When you mix all that positive and negative energy (kind of like a nuclear bomb) it's going to make a huge blast. If he does that it will be crazy, but if he does you have to think he could use it long range too. He better tell everyone to stay a certain distance away from the 3rd Raikage.

Regarding the Bijuu Bomb, here's two ways I'd like to see it.

-If he has to use it like rasengan, then it would be awesome if the ball would be compressed. He would thrust a very small ball, that would expand and explode on contact in large porpotions.

- Using the chakra cloak, and once the ball is made and stabilized, he would create the fox's head p
out of chakra, instead of the arms, in front of him, and shoot it.

Remember the anime episode of naruto and gaara. Where gaara is in a team with 2 genins.
He uses this tiny bal of sand and kicks arse with it.

Using the bijou bomb in such a way, but with more power and possibility to make it explode inside people would be monstrous.

or use it like a kamehameha (most likely).

I dont want to see it be used as melee rasengan, no matter how big the explosion will be on contact or if he uses the arms to bring it to his target.

NO more hand + rasenganorb + pusing it against people.

I almost forgot to mention, doing the Bijuu Bomb in human form was supposed to be impossible, but Naruto does the impossible. I remember Naruto was actually starting to be able to gather nature energy while running when he was doing his sage training, but then he got called back to the leaf village, that is said to be impossible but given a little more time i think he would have done it. I want to see more of his fathers flying thunder god technique in battles to, like he did against the 4th Raikage in chapter 544, page 11 and 12.

I think Kishi did it right...

Dunno why everyone is complaining, it's a simple idea, 3rd Raikage's an Edo Tensei. His regeneration is inhumane already. Naruto's FRS could tear Kakuzu apart only because he was torn apart at a cellular level, not that it teared him apart physically. If u attack a cell, and it regenerate almost as much at the same time, what would you get?

So it did pieced thru the lightening shield, but inflicted "too little damage per second" xD that it didnt harm an edo enuf. After all FTS's main threat is not only how much on a micro level it can attack but also how much of the body it covers--but its useless here.

All in all, it was a wrong move against edo dudes. Rasengans are better because they strike spots in bigger areas and deeper into the body, thus it takes time for a part of the body to heal from around nothing to get a something. Biju-dama is probably a great jutsu against him. But maybe Naruto + Asuma's blades is an as good option ;)


BUT I JUST DON'T GET THE EARTH ELEMENT PART!!! Maybe it's better than nothing because there were no wind dudes?


And oh Kishi, do they us next chapter whether this Naruto's clone or no. >.<

wich made it seem like the attack naruto has been working on for so long, would be totaly worthless agaisnt sasuke.

i guess its possible that kabuto perhaps fully controls him and there for can use some of hes own medical jutsus to enhance hes regerative abilities.

but we havent seen him do this yet, and no hints about it have been made that i know off so it just apears to unlikely.

i guess from a story point of view, i feel like they rushed trew the background info, straight to the biju bomb.

but i guess we will see madara soon, dont see why else naruto would need to develop the bomb at this point.

I dunno, but after reading Naruto for a real long time now, it appears that we are putting ourselves as much in that world ;P and that is why not all information is there to take. This "Naruto" WILL (at least I think) be a hero or story of the past of a great ninja. As much as how great he is an a ninja, the 3rd Raikage is also a great ninja, how he came up with anything to withstand 10,000 troops, will remain unknown, how we faced the Bijuu will remain unknown, how he is okay after an FRS which never failed to end any fight, will remain unknown.

Then again as much, the weakness to the great jutsu FRS will also remain unknown ;)

but it's always there for people to interprete...

i think kishi made a bold move here in trying to explain why cloud village's economy flourished for the last 40-50 years
it was all due to 3rd raikage's brilliance, kage's from other villages would think twice before attacking lightening country also cloud village was strategically not that feasible place for one ninja village to employ an army of thousands due to the fear factor of 3rd raikage withstanding an army of 10000 all by himself
i don't think cloud village participated in any of previous wars and was considered as the nonja village not to be messed with

i think 3rd raikage by far has proven to be the most powerful edo but still kishi will troll him by some lame old combo move with gara naruto and onoki

Evryone wishes for naruto to have another element...But the fact is he has made no use of the wind, not even on a weapon like that of asuma..He added it to rasengan and created a powerful attack but thats it..I actually dont even refer to him as a wind-user as he actually dosent use it at all. Also naruto hasnt got FTG..YET. Hes overall speed is impressive...Yet this didnt stop him getting captured by nagatos summon or having dodai have to get him out of the way in this chap...Also if naruto was able to use ftg he would have done when he was captured by nagato.

The only excuse we can give kishi about the earth element part is that it was team attack which had multiple users making a massive shield, its possible it may have worked against a normal chidori...Also dont forget that dodai guy used that lava release jutsu (think it ended up being some kind of rubber substance) to try and reinforce the wall.


THE BEST PART OF THIS OTHERWISE QUITE POOR CHAPTER WAS NARUTO ACTUALLY SHOWED A LITTLE ANALYSIS...but was made to look lame by being dragged out of the way by dodai, when in fact hes meant to be faster than the current raikage..

FTG requires seals embedded on surfaces or scattered objects marked with those seals, so that the user can teleport around. Naruto didn't use any of that. They spoke about him disappearing in a yellow flash because of the color of his chakra mode, combined with his extreme speed. Bee was confused if that was FTG, but it was not

About the wind, your right he hasn't made use of it, but that doesn't mean he can't. He hasn't had time to train for stuff like that. I saw him use wind once when him and Yamato combined their water and wind to put out the wind and fire Kakuzu combined and used on Kakashi.

There are parts where you wouldn't have known Minato used the markings until they explained it. Naruto surprises you sometimes like when he fought the nine tails he resealed his seal and used the rikudo seal on the nine tails, we didn't even know he could do that, it never showed when he learned it. The ability to use all kinds of seals in his blood to, from his moms side and she is where Minato learned his seals from.

what i dont get is why naruto was not using super speed. he only effectively used that power once or twice ever since he acquired it, and now its like his super speed does not even exist.

and like many people i am dissapointed on how a rasen shuriken just knocked the edo raikage on his butt for a couple of seconds, where as naruto basically defeated muu with a couple of rasengans. surely the rasen shuriken should have more damage against that lightning armour, it made a dent in the nine tails and helped to take down pain, and now it is basically rendered useless against raikage.

but i am still curious for the next chapter. i am wondering what naruto's biju dama will look like. i hope it is a kamehameha style move rather than a melee one. i am also hoping for naruto to combine wind element with it. this would definetly do more damage to raikage and show that naruto is getting a little bit smarter (by fusing wind in with a recently learned attack to take down raikage, who uses lightning)

Raikage's Lightening Armor was not his guard against Rasen shuriken! His Lightening was TOTALLY cancelled by Fuuton Rasengan [You can check again]... @ALL that matter.. So The Sasuke "Comparism" is useless... Fuuto Rasengan dispelled Lightening armor as it should...

And mind you Kyubi was not killed [You said powned; Don't worry I'm making a point] by Rasen Shuriken [He only got a shaving :)], as Naruto used the "stunning effect" on the Kyubi to pull the Kyubi's chackra and own it! Yeah Raikage was also "STUNNED" by the attack [As he was GROUNDED]...

The reason why there was little damage on the Raikage IS NOT DUE TO HIS LIGHTENING ARMOR [As I've mentioned above], but rather "A tough resilient body able to withstand various jutsu's" [YES IT IS EXPLAINED IN THE MANGA: Manga Page 15] Plus His Edo Tensei Regeneration... With those two factors combined, rasen Shuriken did less Damage...

One could theorise that multiple Rasen Shurikens could do the trick...lol... [True] But Hey, this is a fine opportunity to see Naruto's Version of the Bijuu Bomb! :D

Something else that can prove i'm wrong about FTG is when Naruto was with Bee and Shikaku he said, "I won't have to restrain my power then" in chapter 545. That could be an indication that he was restraining his power against the 4th Raikage so he wasn't using full speed until that last punch Raikage threw at him.

Doesn't matter, it is a fact that Naruto doesn't possess it. Minato was often seen scattering kunais around the battlefield. The kunai in his safe house and the seal embedded in Kushina's seal were also shown, so it was a known fact that he often use his FTG.
And like someone said, if he had that kind of space-time manipulation that you talk about, escaping from Nagato's grip wouldn't have been a problem a couple of chapters ago, and he would have teleported to the battlefield without having to deal with so many obstacles.

But you are right about his new seal. Where Naruto learned the Torii seal is currently unknown.

when i first read the chapter i thought it was good, but i guess after reading the comments about how people were disappointed on how the rasenshuriken did not defeat the raikage, i'm a little disappointed in how it didn't work on him either. but don't show TOO much disappointment cause you guys couldn't expect that technique to work on every single enemy until the end of the manga. you probably knew that an extremely powerful enemy would eventually be able to overpower it. the problem is that it's the wrong enemy here that's overpowering the technique. if it was someone like MADARA who could counter the rasenshuriken without the spacetime tech, then that would make sense

If Naruto was worried about being caught by Nagato he would have used his new natural speed to not get caught in the first place. While he was caught he didn't seem to worried, he was standing there asking Nagato to teach him some of his moves rather then worrying about the situation he was in. Naruto didn't like fighting a friend. If Naruto can use space-time ninjutsu he might not be able to do it willingly on command yet.

With FTG all would be different. Minato had a death-proof system. He had a marked kunai hanging on his safe house, so everytime he would be in danger, he would teleport. Naruto would have just teleported away if he had it. Although this is just hypothetical since he doesn't have the technique.

The summon Nagato used was invisible so Naruto couldn't see it, and it was an animal, so I doubt Naruto would have been able to sense any negative emotions coming from it, so his speed wasn't much of a help here

i would like him to learn some more wind nature moves and start to try to combine sage mode with nine tails mode. i would also like to see naruto working with the ma and pa frog for some battles and developing his biju dama or some other powerful jutsu instead of showing us handfuls of rasengan variations. if he had a little bit more variety and integrated his super speed and his sage mode with his kyubi powers more often then he would be a powerful character.

im also mad on how naruto used to have sage mode, which proved to be a powerful ability, and now it is rarely used. sometimes it looks like kishi has forgot that naruto has mastered sage mode and is currently one of the fastest ninja alive. if he were to use his chakra arms, fast speed, sage mode, ninetails mode, rasengan variations, wind element, and his tailed beast bomb (which he should be able to right now), he would be like one of the most powerful ninja around. sasuke's EMS and its powers have only been shown for 3 pages and it seems like he has already stolen the spotlight from naruto, who has been active in many chapters. On top of that, madara and his 6 paths can probably defeat naruto easily and kabuto's trump cards will make him a new top dog. just when naruto gained control of the ninetails, he seemed like he became extremely powerful, and he is, but he is definetly underhyped compared to the other major players, and i think its simply because naruto is not using all of his abilities that he already has, he just simply makes new forms of rasengans... well thats the end of my rant lol sorry if it was troublesome to read, just felt like i wanted to let everyone know what i think.

guys... the fights are used for naruto to display his new powers...he displays new powers with each fight.. lets wait and see what all he has rolled up ...
1. fight with kyubi showed his mastery of sage mode
2. fight with raikage showed his speed
3. fight with muu showed us the new rasengan (rotating like a grinder :P )
4. random fights showed us mini R.shuriken
5. fight with raikage is to show his tailed beast bomb

I think, kishi is right in the way he has evolved naruto..dont u think this RS mode is way better than Sage mode...then why would kishi shift back to sage mode..there will be more jutsus that naruto will use in bigger fights.. right now both naruto and sasuke would show how strong they have become... we will definately get to see naruto in kyubii mode somewhere later.. why do u guys expect naruto to know all the jutsus just because he is in RS mode.. give some time and i am sure we will get to see many more jutsus.. @117 obviously RS mode is better than sage mode but i am still mad that naruto does not use sage mode because he trained for it before the pain fight and then right after the fight he barely used sage mode. its like naruto only learnt sage mode to fight pain, which i think is pointless. this leads me to believe that later on naruto will be able to combine sage mode with RS mode and it will be epic. I like how you said that each battle that naruto is in shows a different power that he has aquired. hopefully we get to see a major battle coming up with all of these powers combined into one fight, so we get to see all of what naruto really has to offer at his current level.

if there is another time skip or time where naruto is not in a fight then naruto can learn how to control the nine tails from bee, how to master sage mode from the frogs and how to create more jutsu and use shadow clones more efficiently from his fellow ninja. if naruto were to master all of the powers that he currently has at his disposal he would be a formidable opponent.

Agree, Naruto only learns and perfects his techniques in the journey of a battle. E.g.) the rasengan.

That said, I agree with the genius that is Itachi Uchiha... i.e. all techniques have their weaknesses.

1.) Sage Mode takes time to build up the nature chakra, hence Naruto reduced the time to absorb the nature chakra.

2.) Naruto has a Kyubi-mode speed comparable to FTW, but the proportion of that speed is equal the ONE Naruto with no clones. i.e. It seems that he can only utilise that insane speed only when he is whole.

3.) Naruto only does Rasengan variation techniques because, yes, @Meowmeow (39), it is the strongest shape manipulation technique. It has no equal in terms of it except with nature manipulation addition.

1. naruto is about to master the biju bomb.

2. Bee could give naruto info on the 3rd, after all he could ask the 8tails what happened.

4. both sasuke and madara is eager to get fighting, madara rinnegan is hungry for battle, and sasuke needs to test hes new eyes.

1. who is kabutos trump, and what is hes second jutsu, wich he once refered too.

3. what will madara say about zetsu being attacked, and did sasuke infact kill white zetsu.

4. why did sasuke attack zetsu in the first place.

6. how will itachi stop the edos, will he go straight for kabuto, or will he help kakashi first.

Remember when naruto fights with neji in chunnin exams when he enters into fox chakra and when naruto fights with sauske , that fox chakra protecting his body from harm (yes indirectly it harms his body) but now naruto controlls the fox chakra and covered his body by it(As we see in manga in SM). My question is- Is that chakra can still protect him from the attacks of others (worked as a shield) if not then why hoe it did in past episodes when naruto is fighting during chunin exams?

I have just read Naruto manga 554 and my god that was disgusting. If this keeps up Naruto can't even light a candle in his fight against Sasuke and when it's time to fight Madara he will be talking to his mom and dad in the world of the dead before his thick skull realises it. Why I'm saying all this, just read the following and you will understand.
Once there was a time when i used to say that Naruto is the best but considering the present development i would say the story has lost it's appeal.
Naruto's rasenshuriken was considered one of the most powerful wind techniques and because of the mass destruction it causes it was rated a forbidden technique. The rasenshuriken also gave a lot of trouble to Pain who had both the rinnegan and similar powers of the sage of the six paths. But what do we see now. The all powerful and famous rasenshuriken can't even put a scratch on the dead third raikage. If u look at it carefully even though naruto can control kyuubi's chakra he hasn't achived that much improvement in his fighting techniques and abilities.
And all this credit goes to the author cause i think he forgot to give naruto some brain under that thick skull of his and also forgot to give some ninjutsu. One needs to understand that without some brain and ninjutsu u can't go out into a war and win it just depending on willpower, it's nothing but a crap. The abilities that naruto has,
1) Shadow clone jutsu
2) Rasengan
3) Rasenshuriken
3) Sage mode
4) Nine tails (kyuubi) mode
5) Summoning technique
6) And recently developed Bijuu Bomb
You can't hope for Naruto to win against Madara and Sasuke
with just these techniques and will power.
On the other hand, Sasuke's power and techniques both are increasing at rocket speed. The same goes for Madara.
Also, you cannot hope that Naruto will learn a very powerful technique before his fight against Madara and Sasuke and win the fight using that technique, that's bullshit. Because luck hardly fovors on battlefield.
If this continues, sadly I am sure to stop reading Naruto because I am not going to waste my time reading my once favorite story which is turning into a crap.

It dispell his lightning armor n put him on his arse. Its the 3rd raikage's body that is a strong shield not his raiton armor. The difference between Chidori & Raikiri:

Raikiri- Chakra is held and compressed into a blade-like shape in the palm of one's hand and lightning element is added to it. Kakashi used it against Zabuza.

Chidori- lightning element is released around one's hand in the form of a surge. Sasuke used it against raikage.

Requirements for both : Extreme speed and the Sharingan

The Four-fingered hellbringer hand is similar to chidori. However, it is far more concentrated and penetrative than chidori. It is like a chidori at your fingertips. The third raikage is also a lot faster than Sasuke and Kakashi so his attack is more dangerous.

Thinking about it, narutos kage bunshins are far more durable now, able to engage in full on fights like this one is crrently doing...Naruto actually well be very strong by the time he gets to the 'main' fights, as his clones are all fighting seperate battles against strong opponents, When the technique eventually runs out or he releases it he will gain all their battle experience.

The only reason raikage got up from the FRS is because he is being controlled by kabuto. if this raikage was still alive he would of been injured severely by the technique. as you can see in the manga beofre naruto hits him with FRS his body structure looks normal, but right after FRS it looks like he had some kind of cracks in his body structure, and remember he is already dead so naruto techniques are not gonna have much affect on him.

Some think that I want Naruto's story to go the way I want it to go. My question is when did I say that!

I am only requesting to put some logic and sense in the story, to make Naruto a bit smarter on analyzing the battles.

Also, some of you said that his father Minato has left a very strong technique which only Naruto can use, even if he learns that when he is going to practice it, Naruto is already on the battlefield. What don't tell me that Naruto is gonna ask Sasuke and Madara to wait until he masters that technique or is he going to master it in one day. For Naruto to do that he has to become something more than a genius.

Willpower is necessary but strategy and power is also required to win a battle. Imagine Naruto winning the battle just by talking with Madara and Sasuke. How laughable it would be?

Another thing is that I think Madara is waiting for Naruto to use up most of his powers and then he will strike.

Also, excess of anything is bad. Like others I also like Naruto's story but blindly liking it is bad. I tell about the negative sides only because I want the story to be the best and end in a way which will be liked by everyone.

Let's get some stuff straight. Rasenshuriken dispelled the raiton armor, as it should. What's bothering people, me included, was the 'human shield/tough body' explanation given by Kishi, was a bit BS. Of course, given this fact, and the fact that he is an Edo, he took very little damage. After all this was the man who took on 10k shinobi, and there's a strong possibility that's just Naruto's clone, because Bee is not around, that's something.

Still, Rasenshuriken should have made far more damage. After sage mode training it went from celular damage, to basically desintegration ( The Pain caught by it was desitegrated to the point only half of his face was left).

Naruto has enough means to deal with Sasuke. Keep in mind he is the fastest shinobi alive. These chakra arms give him unparalelled dexterity and eliminate the little drawback of rasengan close contact, now he doesn't have to be that close to the enemy. He took a punch from the Raikage, the same punch that broke Susanoo, and he defended it with bare hands.
It seems Sasuke's new abilities will revolve mostly around blaze release, and this is just an assumption, but Amaterasu was unable to burn Gaara's chakra infused sand, so I don't think it will ignite Naruto's chakra cloak. And I could go on.
They are walking fast to equality, Sasuke having a little more progression window atm. Naruto's Bijuu Bomb may balance that.

I'm really interested in Naruto learning Sage Mode + Kyubi Mode. There were already hints that this may happen.

Agreed on all counts. I think that if naruto combines sage and kyuubi mode this could be his alternative to fighting genjutsu. For instance if he was in sage mode and got caught in genjutsu would activating kyuubi mode be able to break it, as it is, in a sense a different chakra that is being pumped into his body if u understand what i mean..

sure it would work. even though genjutsu wouldn't affect the natural energy it still messes up your chakra :P it's not like you don't use chakra in sage mode... the natural energy is more like a bonus

Naruto 555: The Tailed Beast Rasengan

Naruto is focusing to produce the Bijuu Rasengan. As the chakra is compressed, the ground cracks and the chakra is dispelled. Naruto is on his back, on the floor.

Naruto: ( Damn… I must get this right or old man Raikage will kill them all)

The Raikage appears in front of Naruto, in mid-air, his lighting infused hand pointed at Naruto. A chakra arm is formed from Naruto’s belly and grabs the Raikage by his neck; it pulls him away from Naruto.

Naruto: ( What is missing? )

Flashback to Naruto’s training with Bee.

Bee: Fool you almost had it. You lack confidence. You just need to add some more stability, and it’s ready to go go, yo !. I’m sure you will get right when you are in a tight spot mothafocka.

Naruto: More stability? That reminds me. I used the same method to perfect Rasenshuriken. When I stabilized it, I was able to throw it, encasing it in… Hey uncle Bee, do you know about Sage Mode?

Bee: Sage Mode?

Naruto: Using natural energy along with my normal chakra in perfect balance, I can enter Sage Mode, which drastically boosts my power. When I learned how to encase Rasenshuriken in sage chakra, I could throw it. I was wondering, could I enter Sage Mode while acessing the Kyubi’s chakra? I once acessed Kyubi’s chakra, while in Sage mode for brief moments, but involuntarily.

Bee: I must say, I would label it impossible. I explained you that when you use that chakra , you shelve your own fool. I guess you could leak some of your own chakra, to use it for Sage Mode, but not to mention it would be really hard, it would also be very risky, because for that you must loosen the seal a little. It’s a good oportunity for the Kyubi to try and take it’s chakra back.

Naruto: I guess I have to take my chances.

Scene changes to the real Naruto.

Naruto: ( My clone) I’m fighting an old man from your village Bee! The Third Raikage!

Bee: ( He can gather information from his clones at real time? Normally he would have to dispel them to absorb any kind of information or experience. Impressive.)

He’s focusing, and he losens the seal a little, the seal keeping the Kyubi’s chakra on a separate part of him. Naruto can feel some of his chakra mixing with the Kyubi’s.

Bee: What are you doing fool?

Naruto: You’ll see.

Naruto: ( I must make this quick, I can’t leave the seal like that too long).

Scene back on Naruto clone.

The Raikage dashes for Naruto. Naruto outspeeds him around, and grabs him by the neck again, pulling him to the ground. While the Raikage’s face is on the ground, another arm appears, and slams a planetary rasengan on his back. Naruto dashes away. He concentrates for Sage Mode. The Raikage is on his feet again, and going for Naruto.

Third Raikage: Lighing Release: Black Chimaera

The Third Raikage creates too orbs of black lighting in each hand and slams them into each other; he places both his palms pointing at Naruto, as many dragon shaped beams of black lighting are fired at Naruto, in a similar fashion of Darui’s Laser Circus. Naruto creates a mini-Rasenshuriken on each finger and throws them.

Naruto: Shuriken Shadow Clone

They multiply, and rain upon the Raikage, trespassing the black lighting with ease, and dispelling it. The Raikage is hit from all possible angles, while Naruto tries to enter Sage Mode. Naruto was still not fast enough, and the Raikage barely misses him.

Gamaken is summoned.

Naruto: Aid me Gamaken, buy me some time. Be carefull, your shield might come handy.

Gamaken: I’m too clumsy, but I’ll try.

Gamaken tries to smash the Raikage with his weapon. The Raikage dodges. Naruto is almost done. Naruto suddenly opens his eyes, and the floor trembles around him. A shade of orange covers the area around his eyes, and his pupils now are shaped like a ‘’ + ‘’ signal. Gamaken receives a lariat. Naruto dismisses him. Naruto moves and appears right behind the Third Raikage. He moved instanly, as if he teleported.

Kabuto: ( What the hell did he do? Sage Mode? This keeps getting better kukuku. He’s no ordinary kid. Naruto-kun… You’ve come a long way since you beat me using the 4th’s jutsu.)


Naruto: Big Ball Rasengan !

Naruto slams a huge Rasengan into the Third Raikage’s Hell Stab: Four–Finger Nukite. A huge explosion takes place, and both are thrown backwards. A Rasenshuriken appears from the dust and smoke, and hits the Raikage, engulfing him in a turbulent explosion.

Naruto: ( My last chance)

Naruto begins charging the Tailed Beast Rasengan. The chakra begins rotating, and compressed into a really small ball, that spins at a ridiculous speed, while a crater is formed where Naruto is standing; the sound created by it is deafening.

Naruto: ( Yes! It’s stable. It’s heavier than never. Let’s see how my plan goes.)

Naruto’s chakra arms, and his cloak form something that looks like the fox’s head. The small ball is now being held by the ghostly fox’s mouth. The Third Raikage appears in front of Naruto, his faces only centimeter away, as the Raikage is engulfed in a blaze of dark orange light. The Rasengan is fired. A titanic explosion takes place, taking down the Raikage and several kilometers of the landscape behind him; various rocky formation are desintegrated. Temari is in shock, and sweat is running down her face. Gaara and Oonoki notice the explosion.

Gaara: ( That’s Tailed Beast Chakra! Was that Naruto…?)

emari: ( What is this power? How…?) SEALING TEAMS GET OVER THERE AND SEAL HIM

Naruto is collapsing. The clone is dismissed.

Temari’s jaw drops.

Temari: A clone?!?! That was all a CLONE?!!

Dodai: Konoha… Always has something to keep Kumo far away from it’s gates. Amazing.

i guess it will come down to madara casting his genjutsu on every1 by reviving jubii and sasuke will snap out somehow with his EMS....naruto snaps out with the help of kyubii and transforms into kyubi like bee...from there on its naruto and sasuke vs madara(S06P...since he will become jinchuriki of jyubi)....thats how it will shape up eventually.. oh btw naruto is shown fighting a rinnegan user, a strong lightning user (powers of madara and sasuke) to show he is a formidable opponent...

I sometimes wish that kishi would show the other fights like Black Zetsu and the Mizukage, or Kakashi going on a rampage, or see what Tobi is going to do with the former jinjurikis (sorry for the misspelling), or even show the two former members of team Hawk. I agree that it shouldn't focus on Naruto so much even though the show is called Naruto. I believe that people like Ino, Rock Lee, or Neji, or anybody else besides who they have shown in the past few chapters.

Im hoping that all that kishi has left out will be shown in the anime...Rather than shitty fillers showing things we haven't seen happen would be a far better idea..e.g 'kakashi's rampage'....

Just out of curiosity, when is it going to stop showing fillers and get back to the main story line? I know it is probably suppose to take awhile for Naruto to get to the island to train with Killer Bee, but the fillers are sometimes are not that good and that is probably one of the reasons why people start to loose interest in the series.

I don't think naruto will ever get any further than a chakra cloak with the nine tails Kishi used b to show Wat a complete jinchuriki is like which is kind of plain naruto will become just as powerful using only the cloak to boost his ninjutsu taijutsu and senjutso I won't be surprised if he loses the fox but remains a powerful shinobi afterall
