First of all, Kishi is a genius!
plus shisui was an uchiha who inherited the will of senju! go figure
one thing is cleared that neither tobi is shisui nor he has shisui's other eye
shisui's genjutsu was considered even stronger than that of itachi because there is no escaping it!(itachi's can be nulled by true jinchuriki hosts)
and all of us missed that crow's eye pattern wasn't matching with Itachi's mangekyou!!lol
now shisui also had the mangekyou! then it makes theory behind acquiring the mangekyou even more confusing! (Kakashi and why did itachi kill shisui!?)
and will it be this easy? just show the crow to sasuke and he becomes a good guy!! can't wait for next chapter!!!!!

AND is naruto going to suck the crow again? or is it flying besides him + is the crow able to use the mangekyou again or was it a "1 hit jutsu"?

Great chapter! I guess Nagato trying to use human path on Naruto isn't going to work. Surely he'll be trying to suck out the kyuubi too which will be too much to take on?

Also if it does work, doesn't that mean Naruto will die? Everyone that the human path was used on died before. Unless he kills Naruto and has to use rinne tensei again! Lol

Itachi was always my favourite character,after this awesomnes he pulled,damn,am w/o words...
Kishi is fckin genious...
So Tobi isnt Shisui,in your face fuckers :) (couldnt resist :P hehe),and Itachi didnt killed Shisui,cant say i thought he did.
So the "felowship of the Konoha" now have 1 more shinobi.
Nagato will be tough to beat,but he cant hold against those 3 more then 2 mangas :).
Hope some more hidden truths will be unreveal soon.

WOW .A mangekyou justu which can be activated only once in ten years .Kishi rocks .This capter is awesome. KOMO AMATSUKAMI .By eliminating the mystery over shisui ,kishi has fueled another one .What is the secret of mangekyou sharingan ? Shisui,Itachi and Kakashi dont use hate while Madara ,Sasuke (and Izuna perhaps) use hate . This is getting interesting .Cant wait 14 days now :D ^_^
Itachi has surpassed every shinobi .Even death cant stop him .

ha, ha. If only Naruto could utilise the Gedo Mado and Ultimate Tsukyonomi jutsu then all would be casted as being protectors of Konoha. That would be a weird way of delivering by peace (reminds me of Stargate Sg1 movie).

I think Kabuto describes that since Itachi has failed to be controlled then he has to resort to Nagato's hidden talents where he can actually perform all the path techniques if he wishes. i.e. he can absorb all chakra, he can do summonings, he can push/pull objects, he can read minds/sense chakra, he can fabricate ninja tools, and he can ressurect the dead; if he wishes.

Nagato's chakra is an Uzamaki which is equilavent to the strength of his chakra. Over using Gedo Mado and his abilities have reaped his youth. Using animal path techniques he has regained his stamina.

Therefore, what is Kabuto's plan? I think it to undermine Tobi by obtaining all the ingredients to activate the Infinite Tsukyonomi technique. Why? First he needs all the 7 tail chakras (all can be fabricated via his Edo Tensei summonings) and a bit of all the 8/9tails foxes. The translation labels at the end, Nagato the ultimate body.

It is more or less clear now that MS is achieved from the pain of loss of someone realy close to you.
You dont have to be the killer.

Which makes me wonder, why did itachi tell sasuke to kill his closest friend?
Did he knew sasuke wouldnt do it because itachi said so? Didnt itachi risk sasuke killing his friend?

Shisui is awesome, but he was still alive when danzo had taken one eye.
DANZO HAD TAKEN ONE EYE, BEFORE SHISUI GAVE THE OTHER ONE TO ITACHI.
Isnt that odd?
The eye in the picture that is missing in shisui his head, is the one taken by danzo.
Shisui gave his remaining eye to itachi and probably killed himself or let itachi finish him.

Anyway, there is a huge problem now, appearently shisui his super genjutsu works once every 10 years.
Naruto wont have it in time vs sasuke if nothing changes.

However itachi mentions senju hashirama's power, so maybe naruto being uzumaki can do something about the 'every 10 years' part.

Danzo could cast shisui his genjutsu mind control every day and he had hashirama his cells.
SICK STUFF!! xD.

nagato sucked up humongous chakra from naruto and bee's tailed beast mode, so the chakra he used after syncing with gedo mazo and using rinne tensei no justsu was restored thus he regained his red hairs and a super healthy Uzumaki body!

by the way, something (not from this chapter) that confuses me -

hashirama senju supposedly creatled mokuton jutsu by combining earth & water, but then 9-tails-mode naruto was turning zetsus into trees with his pure chakra.. now, my question is did hashirama senju have the ability to control biju because of his mokuton, or did his mokuton style come about from being so near to the biju that it took an inate potential ability in him and make it 'grow' into mokuton style?

Agreed, this was actually a very informative issue.

I somehow suspect that Itachi can't be de-summoned. In order to come back to be desealed, the controlled Edo Tensei requires to be voluntarily moved back into the coffins whereby they lose their mobility and probably get a special kunai-Lobotomy.

How did shisui obtain ms?
Loss of his brother obito? (if that was his brother).
The pain of war?

Shisui was so awesome, he fooled the whole uchiha clan into thinking how he would do everything for the uchiha clan, while his interests were protecting the village and peace.

Senju hashirama his dna can maybe turn shisui his genjutsu from 10 years to 1 day cooldown. If what danzo uses is the same thing as this super ms genjutsu.

Appearently tobi his genjutsu was similar and i dont think the guy behind yagura could have been danzo.
Yet tobi wanted to have shisui his eye.
And danzo fought in the shadows to protect konoha as well, which are more or less shisui his ideals.
Yet its said 'danzo had taken shisui his eye' not 'had been given'.


aaah my mind goes overload!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I really like the theory moukoton is made up of earth ,water and yang .Yamato-Zetsu only use earth and water .naruto's heavy yang release reacts to their moukoton and we get trees .

It was itachi who killed shisui! Shisui didnt want ppl to fight over his eyes, thus he asked Itachi to take his remaining eye and kill him by making it look like a suicide. you can relate it to mercy killing! thus itachi killed his best friend same as madara and izuna did, for acquiring a mangekyou, thus Itachi told sasuke to kill your best friend. People always misinterpret the situation, same when sasuke acquired his mangekyou... sasuke didnt awaken his mangekyou until tobi didnt tell him the truth about Itachi, before hearing the truth itachi was an enemy to sasuke thus his mangekyou didnt activate but after hearing the truth sasuke realized that Itachi was the closest person he had thus the guilt of killing his most dear person took over and his mangekyou awakened!
the only exception to this is Kakashi, who hasn't been shown to kill the person dearest to him.

kabuto can't use the edo-tensei summons to get the 1-7 tails!.. first of all, the edo-tensei brings the person back as they were at the time of their death.. at the time of their deaths, the jinchuuriki were empty of biju chakra.. & second, the one-tail's chakra is ONLY in the gedo maza..

so, kabuto can't perform the moon's eye tech.. (by the way, i believe that none of the info that tobi's gave freely is 100% truth, so who knows if the moon's eye is his true goal, or if it's even possible at all)

I wonder how long it will take for Naruto Wikia to write a summary of Koto Amatsu-kami technique:

E.g) Koto Amatsu-kami, a technique designed to subversively changed the core beliefs and behavior of an individual; even those that possess a MS.

Some individuals may possess a weakened version of this jutsu such as Danzo Shimura who battled and stole Shisui's right eye. Because Danzo possessed the First Hokage's dna and could not awaken the MS version, then he's version of the jutsu would only acutely affect the long term belief of an individual and would regenerate within several hours in a given day.

remember, that danzo was NOT using the koto amatsukami.. that is a mangeyko tech.. danzo was using a much water'd down version (enough to confuse people and sway decisions, but not enough to completely change their personality, motives, & negate other techniques used on the person..

THAT is the power of KOTO AMATSUKAMI.. and since danzo crushed shusui's other eye, naruto is the only person capable of using that power! (atleast until someone steals the crow from him)

I always knew Shisui was more powerful than Itachi... And that Itachi couldn't have possibly killed Shishui.... They sacrificed themselves for the sake of Konoha... I suspect Shisui entrusted his eye to Danzo as well as part of the "Project Protect Konoha" campaign.... Kishi is a genius...

Could it be that Nagato is checking out of Edo Tensei too?

I mean Itachi got out through the Koto Amatsukami, as Nagato still has his free will he could be pretending to fight Naruto and Bee for a moment acting on his free will and then by absorbing enough chakra restore his life force through this breaking Edo Tensei. I mean if he wasn't Nagato would've warned Naruto and Bee about the coming attack, wouldn't he?
I don't assume this without reason, the end of the chapter seems to read "Nagato becomes complete". It could refer to "complete" as a self-controlled and free, also as master of life and death (see chapter where Naruto talks pain into reviving Konoha)with the Rinnegan he should be able to break Edo Tensei.


Naturally, as "complete" also could refere to the fact, that he is using all paths in one body. Thought, that wouldn't really be a surprise as before the six paths Nagato created there was never a question that the Rinnegan within the Sot6P was able to use the elements with his own body.

Hope I worte this clearly, ... what's your answere?

What does the last chapter mean: Nagato Becomes Complete!? in what way? i noticed that when he used Preta Path he sucked chakra so as in Human Path.. im kinda confused of that thought -.- eitherway he became younger when he drains chakra and the fact that Itachi killed shisui in order to get MS just to protect the village, and Kabuto said his luck is getting better .. What does that mean? o.o


- oh and shisui wanted to be killed by the hands of itachi because he wanted to do SELF SACRIFICE and so he gave his Eye before he died :]

Well, in manga 462 and the corresponding anime, Tobi seems to be saying that Naruto is a Senju. We also know Uzumaki and Senju are distant relations. Go figure...

Naruto recharging the SMS and using it on Sasuke, that's the kind of lame ass ending that JK Rowling would write. No, Sasuke needs true redemption!

I guess Shisui was the first Uchiha in a long time to activate MS, and so he was requested by danzo, to give up an eye for the good of the village. Furthermore, if he was in Danzo's root division, he would have complied gladly.

Contrary to what others have said here, I think Danzo may have been using this same MS technique, on the 5 kages, that would explain why he was waiting for it to recharge during his battle with Sasuke. You will notice that Kakashi didn't need his eye to recharge, when he over-used it, his whole body suffered.

Oh yeah, Kakashi told Sasuke there was no one close to him, because they all died long ago. Maybe the weight of one or all those losses finally sank in, or maybe it takes time for the MS to activate after the traumatic event, and Kakashi not being an Uchiha took decades instead of days or hours. nagato is going to use gedo rinne on himself....than the alliance will have an immortal itachi and nagato on there side..swayed by their belief in naruto to return from the dark side.
Or this could be a good time for naruto to pull out a random sealing jutsu that will unbind nagato from kabuttos will.something similar to what minato did when he took the kyuubi from tobis control.
either way i really want itachi and nagato to remain alive but on the alliances side..we never got to see either of them at full power.

wow, this chapter is stunning me so much.
i think when naruto and sasuke fight, sasuke will confuse. why his brother give him and naruto power.
for sasuke, itachi amaterasu self activated when sasuke look at madara eyes. and after that, sasuke MS is awakening. for naruto the power of shisui's eye the ultimate genjutsu "koto amatsukami". that's mean, it's meaningless to control naruto with genjutsu even with MS.

finally, sasuke realized that his brother entrusted the village to him and naruto, and the restoration of uchiha clan.

sasuke go back to konoha, naruto kept his promise with sakura, and the final battle naruto and sasuke vs Madara.


about nagato come back to his youth, i don't have any idea.

this just proves that every mangekyo sharingan has unique traits appearances and powers.

shisui's mangekyo could not do tsukoyumi but could do the ultimate genjutsu

kakashi's or obito's could do kamui

itachi could do tsukoyumi, amaterasu and susanoo.

sasuke's mangekyo is same as itachi's because his blood dripped on sasuke's eyes therefore inheriting itachi's magekyo powers.

i think among the sharingan users it was only itachi who has the knowledge and guts to explore the powers of his unique mangekyo sharingan trading mangekyo abilities for blindness and early death

even tobi could not activate the mangekyo abilities of his sharingan...

Not all ms jutsus are unique. tobi even mentioned how being able to use susano is rare. Rare is not unique, but rare is just rare.

MS jutsus.
Susanoo.
Koto amatsu kami.
Kamui.
Tsukiyomi.
Amaterasu.
others.

However, different MS users can have unique versions of those powers i just listed.

Itachi his tsukiyomi can control time.

Sasuke can control his amaterasu flames.

Shisui his mindcontrolgenjutsu is the kind that you are not aware of (yet itachi is aware of it? lol).

Maybe tobi his kamui allows him to enter the realm or portal itself. Whereas kakashi cant, or kakashi his unique version is the range. (if its both kamui).

Tobi wanted to do mugentsukiyomi right?
wouldnt mugen koto amatsu kami be better?
Unless you want to have everyone in that tsukiyomi world.
Or are like ''meh mugen koto amatsu kami doesnt sound good, its to long, ill just use tsukiyomi instead lol.

I don't think it would work, how could kishi? - I thought the human path could possibly suck on life energy? -Post 61 was mine. wikia.naruto.com says that the Human Path can read the mind at the cost of the life from the one who's being read. I don't think we know all Rinnegan/ Path abilities yet, so lets wait and see.

At the moment, I think there are two possibilities, on one hand Naruto could fight of the attack with a chakra attack (or is he in the last picture holding back Nagatos hand with chakra?) or the other hand it could be that Nagato somehow cancels it.

The most interesting part in the chapter in my opinion, is that Shisui only had one eye left, when he gave his left eye to itachi.

Shisui was not some weak shinobi and itachi said 'danzo had TAKEN shisui his eye'.
He didnt say 'had been given'.

Danzo without a sharingan arm or maybe even sharingans, somehow took shisui his eye? He took some subordinates with him to do that?
He had sharingans somehow and or hashirama his power?
Did it happen in a similar way how fu tried to take ao his byakugan? Maybe a different yamanaka.
Did the elders help?

I dont see how a normal danzo with some windjutsu and that summon, could have taken on shisui.

tsukuyomi and KOTO AMATSUKAMI have different purpose

tsukuyomi transports you to a dimension in your mind where the user controls what happens and you feel pain as in real life

with KOTO AMATSUKAMI
is for manipulation of the opponents thoughts making him think he is only going along with his thoughts and insticts without being aware of being influenced

but if thats so, then how danzou didnt notice sasukes genjutsu?

Shisui his ultimate genjutsu is one, where you arent aware of it right?
But itachi is aware that its casted on him.
Maybe because he can see the crow with shisui his ms pattern and because he has a memory of what the crow can do.

The powerful part is that itachi has to do what that genjutsu tells him (even though he will agree anyway with the current command of protecting konoha).

So not only is that genjutsu so powerful that it can be done without the target even knowing it, but you are also forced to follow what the genjutsu tells you to do.

One weakness though, it can be dispelled, unless itachi did something about that as well.

first go and find what is shinto! then understand that these gods are the ones that govern over the hitorigami (the gods who are worshiped by humans) and it clearly says LITERALLY, still you didn't get the fact that its not the exact translation! its just word to word translation. I'll give you one example- the word 'AKELA' (a hindi word) literally translates as 'lonely' in english but it also means 'the only one'
there are different meanings to different words and most of the time they are not according to the literal transltion. If even now you didn't understand it then blame it on your lame education! sry but thats the way it is!

Well this puts the whole storyline in perspective. I'm currently finding hard to filter which actions in all the story that were in fact arbitrary. Shisui's Mangekyou power may be harder to use, but the lower level controlling power is still quite effective. Shisui's powers may have been molding the story for a lot of time, manipulating many of the major protagonists and antagonists.
Also Danzo had plans to acess Shisui's Mangekyou powers; this chapter revealed why Danzo wanted Orochimaru's data to improve his sharingan and also why he destroyed it. Tobi would have had acess to the power in no time, he has Hashirama's powers.

Also, why didn't Nagato use the Hidden Leaf villagers chakra to rejuvenate himself, and fight in a proper shape? Why only now?

I don't think that's a real crow. Not entirely. It's the same case as with Orochimaru's snakes. He could spawn snakes from all over his body, which indicates they are manifestations of chakra. I believe the crow shares the same traits. One of Itachi's evasive maneuvers was to dispel himself into crows. It's not a summon or anything like it

Great chapter. Kishi is always finishing a chapter with unbearable suspense lol. Did you guys notice at the last page that Nagato is performing 'Human path' jutsu on Naruto's ninetails seal? Perhaps Kabuto is attempting to extract his bijuu asap and kill him. From there two things can happens.

Either somebody saves his ass before it's too late.( bee Itachi or the crow...)Either Naruto survive with his bijuu extracted. We all know that he is not gonna die yet. I seriously doubt that it is the second choice because Madara already have his hands on the two brothers with ninetails chakra from the sealed Jar. This is awesome action right there. i can't wait to see what happens!

This is hands down a chapter to prove once and for all that itachi is one of the greatest shinobis in Naruto world. And i'm beginning to think he did not make the massacre i don't know why but is just a feeling, shisui you are a simply a man of mindful vision who accepted his fate of destroying himself ( due to the fact of his power he did not feared it but rather wanted to destroy something that was gonna do more harm than good) and trusting the rest on your best friend, this is so poetic in many ways it is epic. A man who sacrifice himself for the sake of others wow now that is grand. Even though there is still a lot to see on that part from the beginning i always knew that Itachi was the key of the manga now we know who the key's master was Shisui. To be brief all i can say is wow....

Okay it might be different jutsu, but another thing killed me today is how Itachi didn't get an EMS for his own having an extra MS... Yes, it's not ur brother, but Shisui, Itachi, and Sasuke didn't get their MS from brother-killing either...

Apparently Hashirama's powers shorthen the drawbacks of Sharingan, such as the 10 years recharge period. Funny how the Senju powers complete the Uchiha powers, yet they were fierce enemies.
I'm guessing Shisui possessed a massive Yin part of chakra. Hashirama's Yang would make his genjutsu unstopable. The world would be on Shisui's feet.

Hi guys long time since I post here.

This was an awesome chapter, finally putting a lot of theories about Tobi being Shisui and about the purpose of the crow to rest. But at the same time it opened up another can of worms, with the ten year span to use the crow and wether the other eye was given freely or not to Danzo.
In my opinion I think Danzo took that eye by cunning and force. Just the picture of Shisui's bleeding eye gives the impression that it was done in battle. Otherwise it would have been neatly bandaged...etc
From that picture it looks like Shisui approached Itachi just after he lost his eye to Danzo, figuring let me entrust this other eye to Itachi before something else unfortunate happens to me. With that he gave his other eye to Itachi and went on to commit suicide and make it look like both eyes were destroyed.
As for the koto amatsukami, I think that Itachi wanted to first off see how it would manifest itself and how it would work. Secondly knowing that Naruto took control of the nine tails, he would probably have enough chakra to activate it again without waiting the ten years. The key words were (discounting senju hashiramas chakra, unlikely as that is)So either he specifically needs Hashiramas chakra signature, or the enormous amount of chakra that hashirama posessed. If it's the latter then Naruto has an enormous amount at his disposal. If it's hashiramas specific chakra then he can access that if somehow he can save captain Yamato, or even with the new improved white Zetsu clones. Either way Kishi is a genious he left those options there.
As for a time skip, I think right now is next to impossible. There is too much going on with the war that needs to be completed. If there is a time skip it would be back in time maybe showing what exactly happened with Shisui. But not one going into the future as some of you suggested. there would be a lot more episodes to finish with the war before something like that would happen.
I just hope that Nagato will somehow overcome Kabutos control over him. But from the looks of it, it seems there will be another epic battle between Nagato and Bee Naruto team. I have a feeling that Kabuto will end the edo tensei for Itachi. Unless with him loosing control of Itachi he might have also lost control to end it.

Anyway can't wait till next weeks chapter, I also send my hellos to all of you who posted here when I did. It's good to see that a lot of the arguing and fighting has stopped. Any thoughts or opinions on what I think of the situation are welcome?

a strange idea just popped up in my mind. notice how nagato stops draining chakra when 8 tails mode is gone. maybe he is using whatever technique akatsuki uses to extract tailed beasts. so here's my thoughts:

if it is true that that technique extracts tailed beast chakra then and puts it into another being's body, then that also proves that tailed beasts are just masses of chakra like some other people might have said. if that is the case, nagato might have possibly extracted the eight tails out of bee and might be forcing it into naruto so that he may be stronger and maybe because he thinks naruto is more capable of controlling it. that would also probably explain why nagato appears young now because he sucked out an excessive amount of chakra and is now giving it to naruto.

the only flaw here is the fact that it took long extract the other tailed beasts.

smart idea, no?

Your idea is kinda funny lol. Nagato's bein controlled and do not act of his free will. + He wouldn't kill the 8 tailed beast just to power up naruto...this sound crazy.
Nah, Nagato's mind is vanished at the end of the chapter and it's kabuto will. He also said we wanted to keep the bijuus for him so i guess he is trying to capture them. I doubt Itachi will just sit on his ass and let him do it.

From some of the previous episodes it seems that Hashiramas chakras were very special and unique. In other words whoever tries to take those chakras or Dna would also have to be unique in the sense that they would have to be somewhat compatible.
Orochimaru experimented on hundreds of children and they all died except Captain Yamato. Danzo was another failed experiment. We all seen what happened to him when he tried to control hashiramas chakra. I think that Shisui was a special case same as Yamato and possibly Tobi/Madara. from the looks of it he managed to create Zetsu and also give himself a Zetsu clone body. That's probably why he was so pissed when Nagato used the reviving jutsu on Konohas dead rather than Tobi/Madara. He was hoping to get his original body back. Which brings me also to the opinion that it was madaras body that was in that 6th coffin of Kabutos.

Kabuto is only for Kabuto. He wants the 8 and 9 tails for himself, and now that he knows about Shisuis eye he wants to capture Naruto even more. He somehow thinks that if he has the 8 and 9 tails in his hands he will be able to control Tobi/ Madara as well. With the eye in his posession as well, Kabuto would be unstoppable.

Anybody noticed that Itatchi seems to be bleeding out of his left eye as soon as the crow activates or is it tears? - If he his bleeding it would mean he certaily is out of Edo Tensei for good, wouldn't it? Edo Tenseis can't bleed as far as I know ...

I actually don't think Kabuto took full control of Nagato, I still hope my theory is true and Edo Tenseis with their will can use attacks / actions by themselves. So, as far as my theory goes Nagato could be taking actions to free himself from Edo Tensei, too. Naturally, under the cover of "attacks" on Bee and Naruto. See my comments 61 and 86...

Example you could say that a weakness of western boxing is that the boxer is unfamiliar with kicking techniques and cant' fight well against kick-fighters.
You wouldn't say that a weakness of boxing is that punches can be blocked.

I still feel like there are quite some gaps in the story around the uchiha massacre.

According to itachi, madara was around, before the uchiha massacre. Itachi approached him. Nobody noticed his presence but itachi did.
Itachi tells how madara has helped in killing the clan.

Yet madara didnt got his hands on shisui his eyes? Eyes that he wanted to have. He couldnt kill shisui?

Itachi and shisui were to dangerous to him?

Trew the whole, Yin–Yang Release that he used Yin to make his genjutsu take form, and then used naruto's Yang to make his fantasies reality.
And there for giving life to the crow.

I think the incident with Shisui although it seems to be just a day or so before the massacre was quite some time earlier. As it's always flash backs from Sasuke or Madara (we can't really trust Madara's representation) we don't really have a timeline, do we? - I would assume that if Itachi did massacre the clan indeed, it would be quite probable that the death of Shisui and his request to Itatichi convinced him to go through with the massacre, so he would approach Madara afterwards, wouldn't he?

meow i would asume, some explination will come, cause all we saw was shisui, quite damaged and we know he propperly already used hes jutsu to escape, i jutsu who has been shown to work on ms, he could have used it on madara.
And then have been weakened enough, for danzo to take hes eye, after all we dont know yet, and then escaped whit hes body flicker technic.
wich would also mean, itachi didnt nessarely kill shisui.

shisui dies a few days before the massacre, the manga shows that in the chapters about the life of itachi and sasuke and the konoha police who comes at their door.

Approaching madara is probably afterwards yes, like you say, but i assumed madara was around near the village when shisui was alive.

I suppose he didnt just happen to appear near or in the village right after shisui died.

shisui is not more powerful than itachi..he had a more powerful technique..if shisui was so strong how did danzo manage to take his eye by force, which would have been before danzo had iznagi and shisuis 2nd best tech.

At least we know y tobi wanted shisuis eyes so bad. Tobi is like like a mangekyou tech collecter, if he was able to get shisuis eye he would truly be invincible..danzos sacrifice now has more meaning when u think of it that way.

is it me or does it seem like that crow got a lot bigger than wen itachi first forced it down narutos mouth.. its been sharing ramen with the frog key.

on itachi...i think he is still an edo, but not bound under kabutos control..basically he will crumble wen kabuto is defeated, not killed..remeber all someone has to do is find kabuto and genjutsu him into endind the tech..likely this will be sasuke with his new ems eyes, maybe tobi..Or maybe itachi will help the alliance throughout the war, and when the eventual sasuke redemption comes to pass he will fade. i think 10 years is a good price for using that jutsu as it is beyond hax...all the ms techs are pretty hax in my opinion but at least they do have very bad effects; eye bleeding, extreme fatigue, eyes losing light and eventual blindness or in izanagis case instant blindness.

these guys refuse to let hashirama rest in peace man.

No sharingans left, no ninjutsu useable with his one arm, hashirama his dna arm gone (izanagi still possible?) and a chest wound(clash were he expected to have one eye left).

Izanagi will not bring him back to full health, so he will still be wounded and fu.cked up after he stopped an attack with izanagi.
Izanagi is obviously a bad choice in his situation.
What good will 1 arm, no sharingans, and a chest wound do for him? Izanagi would just slow his execution down.

He should have used the super leet genjutsu straight away without any hesitation.

@167 Danzo had already used Shisui's eye that day and was waiting for it to recover. H used Izanangi, sacrificing his other sharingans, to buy time for the eye to recover, so he could use it again.

He failed.

i don't know how much of a big help will shisui's eye would be for naruto? when sauske uses EMS, you don't expect sauske to roll over with shisui's genjutsu. it would be lame. or sauske being controlled by force to protect konoha. that's not reality. something else will happen for sure. maybe naruto will lose shisui's eye to someone.

Based on what Itachi said, that jutsu is the power of Shishuis MS which takes 10 years to recharge unless the holder of the eyes have Hashirama's power.

Since the eyes were implanted in the crow then that jutsu can't be used on Sasuke until 10 years. It doesn't matter that Naruto is Senju because the eyes are in the crow and not in Naruto. Itachi said 'that WAS his plan' which suggests that the initial plan was ruined.

It would be too cheap if the crow could manipulate Sasuke to be 'good' or cause memory loss so he would forget what Madara told him. I'm not even sure if it would work if his initial plan was still in play. I mean, think about it, isn't EMS supposed to be far stronger than MS? There must also be some limit to the number of times a justu like that could be used without going blind. Itachi said that the MS is gone and I believe it was a one time thing because then Naruto vs Sasuke would be lame!

I mean, imagine this:

Sasuke: Die Naruto!! Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan!

Naruto: Ghaaaw!
(Naruto seems to be choking. A crow flies out of his mouth towards Sasuke and uses Koto Amatsukami.)

Sasuke: Umm.... What are we fighting for again???

Naruto:!!!!

Sasuke: Where am I..???

Naruto thinks to himself: He doesn't seem to remember a thing. It must be that crow!!!

Naruto: Let's be friends and go to Ichiraku's and eat Ramen!!

Sasuke: Ok... but only if you're buying.

LOL

That would be so stupid. That's why that jutsu can't be used on Sasuke. I want to see Naruto fighting Sasuke with his own skill.

On another note, I think that Itachi, Bee and Naruto have a big battle ahead of them. Actually, Kabuto may send Itachi back from where he came by releasing his jutsu. It seems that Kabuto has taken full control of Nagato. Hence, the change in eye color and the reason why he didn't warn Naruto and Bee that he was about to attack. He is now restored by absorbing bijuu chakra. Awsomeness!

Anyways, awesome chapter by Kishi. This chapter raises alot of questions about the MS, Shishui, Danzo, the Uchiha clan etc. Can't wait to read more comments and predictions. Keep posting them guys!

Here is what I think is gonna happen. In the middle of naruto and sasuke fight, shisui genjustsu activates and turns sasuke to the good aide. Then, in the middle of naruto and assume vs madara, madara tells sasuke that the only reason he turned good is because of a genjustu that his "best friend" put on him. After sasuke realizes this, naruto thinks that sasuke will be angry and turn on naruto, but just then, sasuke decides that had madara not influenced him, he would have returned to konoha anyway and that it's what his brother would have wanted and continues to fight madara alongside naruto. Comment and tell me what ya think!

It looks like Naruto's soul is being sucked out there on that last page. Either Bee or Itachi will intervene, or Naruto dies. Then somehow Nagato returns back to himself somehow releasing Kabutos control over him and using that revival jutsu again to bring Naruto back to life.

Nagato is using human path sucking Narutos soul out.Meanwhile bee is picking himself up from the preta path Nagato used on him.

Bee: Naruto look out.
Itachi: Amaterasu
As the black flames head towards Nagato

Nagato: shinra tensei.
The black flames get dipursed. Helplessly Itachi and Bee watch Narutos soul leave his body, and Naruto dies.

Bee: "Naruto" AHHHH

Bee goes into 8 tails mini mode and attacks Nagato wiith everything he has. Nagato negates bees jutsu, But while Nagato is doing this Itachi attacks with mega shuriken jutsu.
Nagato: shinra tensei
Itachi: Tsukyomi
Catching Nagato in his genjutsu, with this he uses it to overwrite Nagatos edo tensei.
Nagato: Thank god Itachi that you were able to catch me in your genjutsu.
Itachi: Pls Nagato you have to bring Naruto back to life before the nine tails leaves his body.
Nagato:Reviving Jutsu
Bee:Trying not to be formal, but you people ai'nt normal. But you brought back my friend so we'll call it the end.
Naruto: What happened
Itachi: Your soul was....
Both Nagato and Itachis' coffins come up and engulf them. Kabuto has ended their edo tensei.

Kabuto: I guess it's time I pay the jinchurikis a personal visit myself.

It's not the first time Kishi does this and it won't be the last. Also since I've been reading this manga weekly (about 4 years)I have never seen an instance where they did a double chapter after missing a week. I've seen double episode on the anime, but never double chapter on the manga.

It's clear! Nagato also escape Edo Tensei by transferring his soul to Naruto, so there is a posibility of Naruto Having a Rinnegan or Nagato Tansferring the six path powers to Naruto. Edo Tensei Traps the soul within a new body plus the dna of the summon making him controllable by Kabuto, Kabuto eat more than he could chew by trying control this 2 elite ninja's..

Itachi never kill Shishui, so it was all planned by him & Shishui to look like it was suicide.
