I guess I get it but whats the significance of understanding mifune's background? Or the way of the katana? Wheres the real story line here? It seems to have gone completely off of even the main plot of the war itself. Not to mention Naruto, Sauske, and the only entertaining part of the war thus far, Kakashi

Wow I fell behind 5 chapters. Went back to read all 5 I failed to read over the last few weeks.
I had such a great time catching up. So many people said this chapter was boring.
Had all of you skipped a few weeks of reading the past few chapters. You too would be excited just like me.
Took me about 1hr 20mins. to read up to this one. And so much happened. I especially enjoyed how those Samurai Kinkaku and Ginkaku were defeated.
A shame two cool ninjas were sealed in that clone of Gaara's gourd. My only disappoint was Gaara didn't participate in those action scenes.
So now hopefully we get to see a decent battle between Asuma & his former students clash. And not some lame crap like Asuma ending his life to protect them from some other enemies' attack that would surely kill Shika, Ino, & Chouji simultaneously. Had Asuma not shielded them from some explosive blast.
What could also happen is we get to see Asuma hurl himself towards a ninja just about ready to release a devastating attack.
When Asuma deflects the attack releasing an explosion that will result in Asuma & the enemy killing each other simultaneously.
I can see Asuma getting his revenge on Kakuzu when Hidan fatally injured Asuma costing his life. We never got to see Asuma execute a super spectacular jutsu.
Despite the years he trained alone when he wasn't teaching his team.

I'm just now reading and catching up to the current story too cause the TV episodes are taking too long.. And I can't believe no one has said anything about the photo on page three... They messed up and put 12th place Haruno Sakura twice and just left Sai out..!!
