I think that you are forgetting Naruto's quick recovery cycle. Wouldn't the Kyuubi mitigate the effects of the poison? This actually was a good chapter. The nostalgia of seeing a clash of Rasengan versus Chidori again. That was truly one of the most epic battles shown on a television screen.

The cut on Narutos face is just a nick, not very deep, and I am sure that Sakura would have an antidote for it... she nearly got attacked by "that" kuni by Sasuke before Naruto rescued her. It would need some time to heal him but I am sure she would travel with it.

It seems that they only clashed once this chapter, during the clash naruto and sasuke had a conversation, which is shown by the empty white background as if to show that they were communicating with their minds, or souls.
The outcome has not yet been decided.

I really liked page 11, as when naruto said "we could have easily been in each others shoes"; and showed naruto with a chidori and sasuke with a rasengan.

Im prety sure naruto hated the villagers too, and it was strongly shwon in this chapter, it helped bring us to light and clarify that naruto never always harboured good intentions...he is after all human.

Up until now there have been forces that have kept Naruto and Suske apart, first it was Oru. then Akatske, especially Madara. Because they knew that Naruto could influence him.

Naruto vs Sasuke was the most epic battle in the anime. Pain vs Naruto could top it if they improve the drawing quality for the fight.

Do you notice that when Sasgay look like Michael Myers from the "Halloween" movie when he talk to Team 7? I wondered what will Karin do once she left the bridge, I did remember she said she has something to attend when sasgay found the Hawk teamI wondered what will the remaindering 2 members do, and this time the Sasgay the Myers will have no one to heal him if his ass is kicked, YEAH!

This chapter is a bit interesting in certain aspects...
This Chapter has wahts i call... The Reaperance of the Rasengan vs Chidori and this is the Third time.
And as i quote...
"naruto never always harboured good intentions...he is after all human." by Waqas # 11

He is after all a human but with a demon inside of him and still found peace, but seems sasuke never did find that peace maybe sasuke has a bigger demon O.o... anyway Interesting chapter other than it was a bit Choppy... xD

I think sasuke has a point to all his crazy actions. First we didnt knw the intentions of Itachi, and we all thought that he's an enemy, but it all turns out that he was doing all his actions for Konoha. Sasuke may be acting it all out.

Predictions:
Whats gona happen in the next few chapters is simple. Of course sasuke is so worn out, he wont be able to fight. Madara will save him and transplant Itachi;s eyes.

Yea ur right man, it is a very cool scene. But then the next page, the reality comes in and naruto's usin rasengan and sasuke chidori. Naruto's way powerful than sasuke not only in skills and jutsus, but also has a big heart. When Jiraiya died, he could've blamed everything on Konoha, but he didnt. Well he be influenced by his surroundings, sakura, kakashi, tsunade etc. But sasuke only had Tobi next to him.

Well I think Naruto will totally rock Sasuke compared to last time (When he fought Sasuke the 1st time)
And then Naruto will relate some deep personal reflection and opinion about Itachi/Konoha/etc.

For some reason I'm having the feeling that Kakashi may try his Sharigan Warp Justu on Sasuke again... but..

Madara is going to Show up!!!! Stun everyone with his sharigan and take Sasuke back and tell him that Naruto isn't his friend anymore... (That he doing this for his own gain)

nothing much in it... 90 seconds for 17 pages!

and 70% of that was conversation, not eve meaningful conversation...

poor Karin followed Sasuke around like a faithful dog... but i guess she have learned her lesson... "saying that she's done with him... and that he's not healed 100%" but she doesn't care anymore!

finally Kakashi got serious to kill Sasuke, and sadly was stopped by Naruto... although he told Sakura that she's useless in this situation and that she should leave!

Naruto's answer will decide the perspective change of this manga!

I mean despite that he tried to kill her, she may accept that like Naruto; the only way to save Sasuke is to understand and experience the same thing...

Naruto vs Sasuke was an epic fight, like everyone has been saying. Definitely one of the best fights in the whole manga/anime.

Naruto vs Pain was good on the manga, its like I read from another forum one time, Kishi left us with an epic fight to be portrayed in the anime episodes, cannot wait till this fight is shown.

Next chapter will be interesting, Naruto will overwhelm Sasuke and somehow Sasuke will escape. That's the way I see things going.

The Naruto story is over ten years old. the original chapters of the story had a lot of content and heart. now there is always the cliff-hanger ... and not quite enough action.

I think that the story has been milked for all it can be. We are coming into the conclusion. Orochrimaru has been killed, Jihrya, has been killed. the only sennin left is Tsunade, and she is in a comma, and no longer the Hokage.

the whole story has been about Naruto trying to catch up with Sasuke. and he has finally done that, here is there.

is there more? I think that if Naruto can solve the Sasuke problem, then he will have been able to break the curse of hatred in the ninja world.

Naruto will probably use Kage mode(kyuubi+Sage) too increase the Sage time limit or be able to absorb it while moving.

We all know Naruto has increased chakra control when in Kyuubi mode from reading his battle with Sasuke. While in Kyuubi Mode Naruto was able to create Rasengan with one arm even though he normaly needs a clone. What if Kyuubi Mode could give him a boost in his ability to control Natural chakra.

The only problem with this idea is that Naruto has to be in a focused state of mind to absorb nataural chakra, and in Kyuubi mode he loses his ability to focus. But if he learned to control the Fox, he probably could stay focused enough to still absorb chakra, even while moving. It would be awesome if Kishi did this.

This volume of the manga was good but it could have been made better.

And regarding 486 I feel that Naruto and Sasuke will exchange words and there would be bits and pieces of fights like this volume. But may be Sasuke will realize what he has been doing. That won't mean that even after realizing he would return to Konoha. He would still go with Madara to get more info on the history of the Uchihas.

Yes if he could use the fox's power that would be the ultimate achievement and most powerful ninja.

but, unlike Killer Bee, he hasn't made friends with the fox yet. and I don't see that happening soon.

You are right, about right now, he would just have to be focused, but I think the whole Sasuke thing is too emotional for him to stay focused.

In Toronto time it is now 12:20am, and for me, the episodes usually come out in the early afternoon. the last one I downloaded (149) was at 1pm, so i would say in about 13-14 hours

hey guys

not a bad chapter, i expected there to be more mindless talking, but some unexpected action made it better

1) well no surprise that karin is changing sides. still believe she'll convert to konoha and aid in tracking akatsuki/giving up info about Hawk/Sasuke. she'll be a pretty valuable resource in the future.

2) good call on the kunai poison to whoever mentioned it. he's def going to need medical attention, so sakura will do that. just because naruto's got the kyuubi doesn't mean poison won't affect him.

3) I don't expect Sasuke to win this collision. he's completely exhausted and nearly blind, so for him to overpower Naruto would make no sense

4) In my opinion, now is NOT the time for Naruto to unlock Itachi's power (someone mentioned it above). Naruto is completely capable of handling the situation right now and doesn't need to rely on Itachi's gift. i predict this secret power will be used much much later in the series (towards the conclusion) during the climactic Naruto-Sasuke finale.

5) i'm still thinking over what the 3rd option will be, not sure yet.

Well people this is my first post.......I have some thoughts of my own.......First of all I would like to talk about Shisui eye.......I think the reason Madara(I am the one in favour of those who think tobi is Madara) took shisui's eye is because he wants to use it in the moons eye thing as Shisui'e eye has the power to control others. So with the help of that he can control everyone.....But yet I dont know if it was crushed or not........I might be wrong so do tell me.....And I think at some point Sasuke will return to Kanoha........And I would love to see what happens when Naruto and Hinata come face to face that will be Awesome

Hi SID welcome to the site, I have been coming here since Dec.

Danzou managed to crush the Shisui eye, when he did the self-destruct seal thing.

in the picture that had Madara looking at Danzou's body, it looked like some sort of lab, with the table, and many storage boxes in the back ground (like he had a filing system for sharingan...) if it looked crushed there, then I am sure it was gone for good.


the good nature of the Naruto story line would suggest that Sasuke will at least become chaotic neutral, he might come right back to Konoha, but it is hard to predict completely

If the Poison of a "Tailed Beast" who is a "Unique" Poison dont work on Naruto thanks to his own power then why a normal Poison made by a "human" would work on him?

anyway...

Naruto will now use is Fuuton Rasengan in the last moment and break chidori apart hurting sasuke... tobi wont come back, zetsu is where Jugo and Suigetsu is, Kisame is dead "so far"... Karin made a shoice that Sakura never did no matter if kakashi where to die she didnt made that shoice that Karin did... karin show us that she is stronger in mind than sakura...

kakashi himself told her that this was a fight she can't handle...

so sasuke is all alone now... naruto will win like i say before... no matter if sasuke was in good heart or all beat up this fight is for naruto to win no matter what, cuz this fight is very important to sasuke... is the fight where he will decide to take itachi's eyes to become stronger than naruto "again" but that will be later on...

now naruto will take sasuke back to konoha and there is when tobi come to take his toy back again and we will see tobi's power that he havent show yet...

The truth abt madara..
only 2 person can use time space jutsu....
one madara nd second is kakashi.
madara's technique is more powerful bcoz he's an uchiha..
madara wants to take kakashi eye using sasuke....
the truth can be that madara has the right eye of uchiha obito and kakashi has the left eye....or it can be possible that madara is using the body of uchiha obito...
therefore kakashi can b threat for madara...
Madara has many sharingans of diff. diff. users with diff powers...
he'll use all in fight...
when sasuke develop a diff. unique jutsu from his eyes he'll take his eyes also...

agree with 81! remember madara was the one to help itachi murder the uchiha clan. his motive was to take their eyes. what i knw for sure is that if tobi is not madara, or he doesnt have his old power and has only obito's other eyes. kakashi's left eye is sharingan but tobi's right eye is sharingan. it makes sense doesnt it?

and to all of you whom thinks Sasuke is pretty much low on Chakra, thats not true at all with Karin whom was healing ever so often, and u have to admit if madara did had that much chakra and the past then u have to realise sasuke being the uchia that kishi have made him to be would have a chakra pool of his own! and sasuke is as blind as itachi was, so who here still thinks he cant see enough to put up a good fight!!! and sorry sasuke fans, am not a fan of his, it's just obvious of what kishi is showing us!!!!

MY opinion of this matter is that itachi is alive because...

1-it could be possible that what sasuke faught was another impersonalization like when the the time naruto and kakashi fauth with him only using 30% of chakra because everybody knows that sasuke could never beat itachi even tobi("madara") said to him that itachi had been fighting illness for years and zetsu and tobi("madara") said that he wasnt in full power , even he said that he could never rival itachis power.this is my opinion because simply put itachi rules , no uchia could rival him not even kakashi that even pain said in the chapters (kakashi vs pain onward) that he is a great treat to pain.and not only that but he gave part of his power to naruto when he shove a crow up is troat,its possible that he transferd himself to naruto like when orochimaru was in sasuke when he faught itachi.... so lets say itachi found a way to transfer hes essence , since everybody must now itachi was a genius since he was a child... but thats my opinion since im a itachi fan jajajajajajaja itachi 4 life XD

Hi guys,

Silly thing I just thought about:

We know that if you have the Mangekyou Sharingan, you go blind when you use it too much, and the cure for that blindness is taking your siblings eyes, hence achieving the inextinguishable light of the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

Perhaps there is some fancy power upgrade similar to that if you took your father/mother's eyes? Seeing how Madara has the eyes of at least 50 Uchiha's, it's likely that amongst them are the eyes of Sasuke and Itachi's parents. Maybe it's more powerful than the EMS, and Madara didn't want Itachi to know...

Anyway, it's just a silly thought I had, but you never know...

Itachis has/had great power. You said this your opinion ... because simply put because Itachi rules , and no Uchiha could rival him, and not even Kakashi's power, that even Pain said, in the chapters (kakashi vs pain onward), that he (Kakashi) was great treat to Pain.

And not only that, but Itachi gave part of his power to Naruto when he shoved a crow up is throat, its possible that he transferred himself to Naruto like when Orochimaru was in Sasuke when he fought Itachi....

That is a good possibility, like when the the time Naruto and Kakashi fought with him only using 30% of chakra, but that was another impersonation of Itachi.

... But after the impersonation was defeated, the technique was released and the original body was revealed. Madara would have seen that.

but there could be a possibility of some other technique used. We will see.

I also have a theory that tobi is of the uchiha clan (not madara)and has some of madaras cells inplanted in him or has a merger similar to orochi kabuto. He was some what anxious to for sasuke to implant itachis eyes because I believe he does not have ems and is hoping saske will obtain it and take his. This would explain why itachi said mandara is a shell of his former self. I think sasuke will wise up and leave after he gets the implant kinda similar to what he did when orochi was trying to use him....just a thought

this fight could go two ways, either next chapter the fight will be interrupted and Sasuke will be saved by Tobi, there probably will be another time skip like everyone says, and naruto will have learned to control the power of the nine tailed fox!!, naruto will be 18, almost two years in the future, and the 4th ninja war has begun!

or the fight will not be interrupted and sasuke will be asskicked by naruto!

O come on, kakashi wasnt a that much treat to pain, the only difference was that in the fight with jiraiya, nagato was a lot of closer to pain, making the chackra transmission stronger, with kakashi nagato was controlling pain from a very far distance, it´s like a wiffi transmission, the far the objective, the weaker becomes the signal. Example:

pain defeated by a resengan of konohamaru

pain not defeated by a full strenght kick of jiraiya sage mode


and plus, pain said that in ther future kakashi might become a treat to pain, future!(months, years), thats of coirse if pain doesn´t improve his powers and abilities, something very improbable, and of course, if he would fight a very weak pain due to the distance form it´s manipulator(nagato)


Considering the devastation caused by risen shuriken of naruto in sage mode and the shinra tensei of a pain controlled by a far distance form nagato, is like comparing kamehameha vs kikohu, and of course, if the shinra tensei or shibaku tensei would have been done by nagato it self, then

naruto+sage mode vs nagato full strength would be something like.- kid goku without hidden power freed vs king picollo young and in full strenght

-naruto used rasengan and not fuuton rasengan(i dont mean rasen shuriken).

he has a reason for this, will he mention his father? that he completed his fathers jutsu and will say, and this is the second step and shows fuuton rasengan, than later he shows rasenshuriken and says, this is the third step.

My father the fourth hokage couldnt manage it, it seemed impossible. But i did, i wont give up, just as i wont give up with saving you from the darkness.

Either way, naruto is still trying to convince sasuke that he understands him. Sasuke his counterargument is that naruto never had siblings or parents and that he therefore cant understand how it feels to lose them.

Naruto allready explained how he has felt hate too and revenge, now explain how he actually had parents too, knew them and lost them.

He met Minato, which is gone(assumely) he lost jiraiya too and nagato his fellow student (which he respected in the end).

His brother could be in the embodyment of sasuke (altho not by blood).
Naruto lost precious people too.

its still not the same as having grown up with family at birth tho, so naruto wont use the family argument i think.

hey, even if somethings are true neither sasuke nor naruto were planned to be gay, they just act according to circunstances.

sasuke is just a little crazy and obssed with power, he has prevously shown feelings for girls like sakura, like when sakura hugged him during the test of kakashi, the problem with sasuke is that since the very begginig he just though of vengance and that he wanted to be alone due that without conciusness he just didn´t want to dragg anyone in his suffering.

this is wat i think will happen. suigetsu, jugo, and zetsu come. kishi leaves us suprised by having zetsu eat karin and then perform a wierd jutsu so sasuke can escape before naruto can do any damage to sasuke. naruto will think he needs to get stronger to be able to bring sasuke back. he will train. sasuke might try to improve his vision and try to improve his MS techniques and jutsu. there will be another timeskip. suigetsu and jugo might get stronger too.

after timeskip there might be a killer bee vs sasuke rematch. suigetsu might try to avenge kisame and i wouldn't be suprised if he becomes new wielder of samehada. i think killer bee will get captured for real. then kakashi will have his fight with tobi. that's all.

Good deal, so much in a single chapter. You have to appreciate the artistic aspect and storytelling form for hundreds of years. So much was unsaid in words but given between the lines. Get past the poison, its like kishi sits here and reads this stuff cause he goes left to everyones right. He is a great storyteller you must admit. Sasuke never let Naruto go all this time and the baddies know that, he always has been Naruto's-Itachi. He doesnt have a grand master plan but he has a soft spot for him and only him. Like when it was with Garaa he knows the feeling unlike everyone else. Garaa was merc'ing people left and right and Naruto saw the good in him and pulled a mirror to him.

I like the make Sasuke kage bit its pleasing but eh haha.
Naruto has not come at him in a real aggressive way noted by lack of anger or sage, itachi knew the two were close and could have made some mention that this was a tool he has, i wouldnt even sweat the "I leave this power with you" thing for a while. Naruto knows more a feels more than weve been let in on yet and he at the very least can leave a positive impression on Sasuke

I believe that naruto will find a way to seal sasuke bad side within dead demon consuming seal; just like the 4th did with the yin and yang chakra of the fox. but naruto will find a way to do it with out sealing himself.

or maybe he will after reading that he won't lose to sasuke, won't kill him, nor be the hero. he might seal himself. just like kishi's twin brother kishi ended his manga 666 satan the main character save the world by casting himself to god knows where never to be heard form again.

But if you see flashback of Naruto & sasuke's fight.
Naruto always wanted to break sasuke's legs so he wont run away to Oro.
Similarly Naruto can take his eyes & or do something which makes sasuke not using sharingan anymore.

as the toad who taught naruto sage mode said they can help them to get to sage mode when he is moving but r not able to because of ther kyubi...guys if naruto is capable of controling kyubi then may be just may be kyubi can be the one which helps gather natural chakra for him.....and also if that happens
naruo will have more chakra and to balance it he will have to take in more natural chakra ,
then he may be even powerful than the juubi
