Things will become more complicated now that Danzo is Hokage. Naruto is in danger so is Sasuke. The arrival of the messengers from the Hidden Village in the Clouds with the message about Sasuke and his afiliation with Akatuski will make Danzo position even straoger and Naruto and Nagato's dream is harder and harder to be fulfilled. Sasuke will be now the most wanted man from konoha and i don't think that naruto can save him unless he does something with Danzo.

Well i hope that Naruto walks in and tells everybody about Danzo that he to has a bad past. He teamed up with Hanzo and that he used sai to talk to orochimaru. Hataka Kakashi Should become Hokage

can believe that they made danzo 6th hokage. Well, I guess this fools in the meeting room need to look out side and and see what going on instead of choosing 6th hokaga. Because there is no way the villagers will accept danzo as a hokage after seeing what sunada and here followers did to protect the villagers. Even those who serves under the hokaga they will never accept the danzo as a hokage. Just wait for naruto to tell every one about hadzo's evilness and wickedness past. but' majority of the people voted for kakashi, and I am really looking forward to seeing kakashi as a hokaga.

Guys doesn't the villagers get to vote who should be the next hokage.

i'm happy at last naruto get acknowledge by everyone in the village. but this type of acknowledgement looks very much fake.

why kishi didn't show anything about naruto when save the village from shukaku.

when PAIN(nagato) invades konoha every single ninja say they believe in naruto. but they did not let pain know where naruto is.
because 1. because even they didn't know where is naruto(it was a secret where was naruto training)

2. their rules which are like a code joined to their mind never let you comrade down.

basically the 1st rules followed by them

it is a true fact that even ninja's fear of death
if they know where is naruto they must have tell that to PAIN.

people even the most of ninja who know what naruto is
just faking. they don't admire naruto or praise him
it is just they r happy that they are alive, and someone do the work for them.

everyone was so confident that naruto will come AND BEAT pain. THEN TYPE OF NINJa's they are they show cowardness
they didn't take their responsibilty all burden put on naruto.

NOW PEOPLE ARE PRAISING NARUTO.BUT IT WILL NOT LAST A LONG TIME.

This chapter was really quick! I mean, how can they suddenly agree with danzo when seconds ago they had decided the hokage would be Kakashi? It was too unreal!

Anyways, I think this is a nice twist to the story. I don't like Danzo, but Kakashi being hokage would be too expected!
Wanna know what happens next! >.<

I DON'T THINK DANZO AS HOKOGE WOULD LAST LONG. THOSE 2 ELDERS/COUNSELLORS TO THE HOKOGE ARE ALSO A PROBLEM. I THINK SHIKA WON'T AGREE TO IT AND THE MEETING COULD TURN INTO A FIGHT. ALSO NARUTO HAS THE BACKING OF THE WHOLE VILLAGE MAKING HIM A HUGE POLITICAL FORCE AND IF DANZO AND ALL HIS ANBU DECIDE TO FACE NARUTO, IT WOULD BE AN EASY VICTORY FOR NARUTO. WELL MADARA AS DANZO IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE BUT THE FAULT IN THAT THEORY OS MADARA WAS MIZUKAGE. I THINK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OBVIOUS TO THE VILLAGE THAT DANZO WAS A KAGE BUT STILL THERE COULD BE A LINK BETWEEN DANZO AND MADARA. this was a nice turn of events that will lead to lots of great developments,Danzo being appointed Hokage was a given considering the turn of events,Naruto still a long way from being Hokage first beacuse hi resolve on Sasuke second the elders and the fire lord see him as loose cannon or maybe just a political weapon,third hes to joung and still a genin, Danzo is a oldschool villan like Dr. No in 007 full of himself and his plans ar going to blow in his face ,my prediction on him is that he'll do some underhanded things some marcial law ,black list some caracters if they dont see his way stuff like that u know good storytelling on his death i say that Tsunade returns from her coma helped by some justu naruto got from the toads and bans Danzo from the village ,now check this out he runs into Sasuke, he'll spill everything and then kill him with akamaratsu triggered by rage. there's to many stories to tell still in the manga and i honestly bulive tha naruto will never become hokage couse if he fufills Jiraya's dream of world peace the villages will be disbanded or he'll die in the hands of sasuke now that will be an awsome tear jerking ending to and epic quest of friendship ,dont you think?

and by the way naruto did gain the sharingan power from itachi u guys now that he just don't know how to use it quite yet but i think when the final fight between naruto and sasuke comes naruto will almost kill sasuke with the focuskyubisharingan. well i hope so because the sasuke or kakashi will be naruto's teacher but first i hope donzo dies by the hands of naruto or kakashi or sasuke

i don't know about anyone else, but i've read ever since forever ago, and to see the entire village cheering for naruto and worried about him about how he's a hero and whatnot, it just makes me happy =] i mean, the entire village used to hate him. Naruto will not let danzou be hokage. that's what I think. something will happen and somehow, naruto will fall into being the Hokage. The series is slowly closing up. alot of loose strands are still out there but it's all coming together. I love naruto =DDDDDD

I think it would be interesting to see how Danzo as hokage will play out I mean I wonder how he is different but I would have wanted Kakashi to be hokage!

Naruto is super strong but isn't ready to be hokage!

I think Danzo will try to keep Naruto locked down in the village, it would be a surprise if he lets him out! but if he does he should let him go and save the eight tails!

The funny thing about this is Sasuke is coming to destroy konoha and its already have been destroyed, well he can still kill Danzo and the elders and Kakashi can become the Hokage!

Hinato would totally lose to Sakura, yeah Hinato does have the gentle fists thing but Sakura would knock her out before Hinata can do anything!

The series is not wrapping up so don't say that, if Naruto becomes hokage that doesn't mean the series is over, I mean their could still be another great ninja war and other things so just because Naruto somehow defeats Akatsuki and maybe saves Sasuke, he still could leave the village and train some more and maybe find out about his mother whirlpool village and stuff there is lots of things that could happen! He hasn't even masters the kyuubi.

you are wrong, madara doesn't have permanent sharingan, he has eternal mangekyo sharingan which means he won't go blind for using mangekyo sharingan,,,,,,,,, he can turn off the sharingan if he wants to, remember sharingan uses chakra, if he had sharingan all the time, he would be dead of lack of chakra.

actually like kakashi,madara took someone elses eyes so its very possible that madara has permanent sharingan even if he has the uchiha kekkeigenkai and the sharingan doesnt kill its user if its on naturally because its part of the user,only none uchihas like kakashi and those who use sharingan for fighting can get tired but not the uchihas that only use it for normal things because it doesnt take that much chakra and the uchiha body can take it.

even if it is a little of chakra, using sharingan forever would tire you, and if you are unable to stop the sharingan you would die, could you imagine madara dying in a battle where he got tired, but because he can't stop sharingan he died?, kakashi permanent sharingan is because he isn't an uchiha, so he hasn't have the ability to stop it.

I truly think, Naruto will become hokage after everything is said and done. Once peace is overcomed by all countries. He has rain and sand village as allies, when the final ninja war comes to head, all allies will be at Naruto's side. Danzou will indeed team with Madara and old school thinking vs. new school thinking will become war. Naruto will lead this war with his positive thinking and change everyone's mind. Tsunade will recover, but her hokage duties will come to an end. Sasuke will forever be a loner and will choose neither side, but will help Naruto in a last minute, life or death decision. Either Sasuke will die, or Naruto will die. Sasuke will sacrifice himself and let Naruto live. Sasuke has nothing else to do with the story, his fight will be with either Danzou or Madara, probably both. What do you guys think?

-Naruto will seek the aid of Konan and Rain country, Konan wants Naruto's vision of peace to come true and hates Danzo...

-Sasuke shows up and confronts Danzo in Kohona. Plans to eliminate Him and the elders.

-Danzo's past deals are exposed by Fusasuku (Pa Frog), Naruto, and or Raikage and Cloud Team?

-Civilians and Ninja are outraged by suggestion and rebel.

-Civil War between Tsunade Loyalist and ROOT Anbu.

-Naruto and those who believe in him follow Naruto to Rain/Sand country in exile.

-Naruto fights against Danzo and ROOT anbu

*Danzo may or may not actual be Hokage some sources are saying he is nominating himself to be hokage, considering the Ninja backing Kakashi this might be true.

I think sasuke will end up killing Danzo and they will appoint kakashi as the next hokage. After this decision is made, kakashi will give up his title to naruto and explain to the villiage why he should be hokage.

as much as it sucks, danzo is going to remain hokage for a while imo its kind of a symbolism the number 6 representing incompleteness in the bible and kishi likes to do weird symbolism like he did with pain, and i think that naruto is going to drift off from the village along with a few of his loyalties. Where they will meet up with the 8th tails, and he will help naruto get even stronger. Konoha will basically be at a world war eventually and then when everything clears up about madara and danzo what not whether sasuke kills danzo or not, naruto will have the final battle with madara, and win the villages heart again to become 7th hokage which represents completeness in the bible.

can someone tell me all the things he has done?
i cam just remember a few things..

- he worked together with hanzo (danzo,hanzo lol, is he his brother or somethin XD) But in hopes of gaining his aid in becoming Hokage
- he took PART of the itachi plot to kill uchiha clan, BECAUSE konaha discoverd/learned that the uchihas wanted to take over the village
- he send sai to kill sasuke, AN MISSING-NINJA

First, Im so glad that the turn of events happened with Naruto :)

He needs something like that...

Second: Im very dissapointed with the Elders right now because you cant just elect a Hokage like that!

But as for predictions...Im going to go along with many of the people here...Konoha will rebel against the fact that Danzou will be Rokudaime. What I think will happen is Kakashi will be appoited as a subsitute...because lets face it...Tsunade isnt dead.

As for Sasuke..your a day late and a dollar short buddy.
Orichi..he'll probably take over Sasuke and that will be the final battle between Naruto and him.

But what I dont get is..Hinata just said she loved Naruto..and yet she's letting Sakura take her love xD

YOUR CORRECT! I checked it out. in chapter 399 of the manga on page 09. it shows a pic of the young Mandara. he has the same eye as Danzo. Plus with his time/space jutsu its totally possible. Wow unbelievable. Tobi is Mandara and Mandara is Danzo. Any one dare to challenge me feel free but its right there in the manga! Plus since it makes since to get back at Konoha by slipping into the anbu root and slowly becoming captain. Itachi was an anbu and he was ordered by Danzo (Mandara) to kill his people. Itachi found out too late and decided to take revenge in the way we know today. In the manga 397 Itachi placed amaterasu in Sasuke to kill Mandara, why? cuz he figured out that he was Danzo and he tricked him. wheyz! Naruto rules! still want Kakashi to be Hokage tho

on another note, Itachi also probably had a backup plan. Naruto! He planted Naruto with some of his power just as he did Sasuke jus in case Mandara didnt died, cuz he knew eventually He and Danzo would fight for one of them to become Hokage cuz Kakashi would refuse and nominate Naruto. there may be a condition for danzo to become hokage. The feudal lord stated danzo to be the hokage....but he has to fight against Kakashi in the battle..

I think Danzo will be the 6th Hokage and Sasuke will plan to assisinate the elder and danzo. Danzo will used team samui from komugakure/village hidden in the clouds to fight Sasuke. The Samui Team will ends up dead.

Killerbee will revenge to Konoha and will fight with Naruto which then find out that killerbee was able to control the eight tails. Naruto then learn how to control Kyubi. After that, killer bee died of lost against Naruto.

Raikage will not accept, He will request that Danzo submit Naruto dead body to Komugakure just like the Hyuga case. The village will protect Naruto. The war againts Komugakure with Leaf will start.

Haha..just thinking on the possibilities. Iwonder who will be Madara's pawn to help to ressurect Gedo,who also as powerful as Pain?

I thing itachi knows for certain that naruto have to face sasuke in order to save the village from sasukes destraction one day with confusion, which is sasukes in at the present, so to clear it out and give the true answers that sasuke seek, itachi implanted some of the information in to naruto, which will be activated during the fight between both (naruto and sasuke). Danzou does not have the Sharingan

Danzou is around same age as the 3rd and 3rd was student of 2nd when he was a kid . 1st by then was already a much
older adult & he was exchanging swords and punches with Madara even before the leaf village was formed.

There are also obvious physical differences which as i said i are pretty obvious.

I dont like Danzo at all, but I think it makes great opportunities for the story. Overall, it actually puts Naruto and Sasuke on the same side, so even though we will see a fight between them, I think they eventually team up on their common enemy. Also, this doesnt look good for Sai. He no longer follows Danzo's teachings about emotions and I can see him sacrificing himself for his new friends and dying. If he does...then team 7 will have an opening. Sasuke will have his place to return to... :-)

doesn't matter, Danzo and the elders are going to be killed by Madara or Sasuke soon anyways.It will be most likey that Madara will kill Danzo and the elders because Sasuke and his gruop will be probaly be fighting the Rock village people, while Kisame will be fighting the 8 tailed demon. After all of this, when Madara has beaten up everyone in the Leaf Village, Madara will try to kill Sasuke, and Naruto and Sasuke will team up and kill Madara. END of Naruto Manga.

Very well said.. yes, Sai is a very weak character and his ties with ROOT ANBU and Danzou, I think all this information on emotion that he has taken, will lead to the decision of giving his life for say Naruto or Sasuke.

Although, Naruto does need to fight Sasuke, we all know it's gonna happen, but what are the stakes? If Naruto defeats him does Sasuke come back? If Sasuke wins, does he become a rogue ninja, and take the more sinister path AKA Orochimaru?

Theory for and against Danzou=Madara:

For:
We don't know danzou's age for sure. He has been there since the third Hokage. And we can also guess Madara's age, he needs to be about a 100 years old.
Madara has a good knowledge of Konoha, so does Danzou.
Ever wondered when did Madara met Nagato? Danzou was one of the first to see the rinnegan in action in survived the attack. Then somehow madara recruited Nagato. fishy?
Madara wanted evenge on the Uchiha clan. He wanted to kill them all. During Itachi's massacre of Uchiha clan, Danzou was very supportive of the idea. He and the other advisors were strongly in favor of this. Madara also met up with Itachi to kill the uchihas.
Madara had knowledge of Konoha. He set the 9 tails against it. He could see through 4th Hokage's attacks. It sounds reasonable for a sharingan user, but also an inside job. If madara was Danzou he could have a good knowledge of the 4th's techniques.
When Sasuke revealed his plans to kill all the elders of Konoha, he seemed to restrain him from doing so. why?
In the latest chapter, Madara said he has something to attend to, then we see Danzou at Konoha. We know about his teleportation jutsu.
Look at Danzou's eye in the latest chapter page 15 or 16 first panel I think. It seems almost identical to Madara's right eye.

He is experienced having gone through the past 2 wars .

Perhaps he is the right kind of person to rally the other

Sakura so has Naruto and vice versa. So what if Hinata admitted love. If anything Naruto's reaction was suprise at being caught off guard. Remember he's kinda dumb sometimes. Think back to the woods when Yamato said he knew Sakura L- Naruto. You all don't honostly think the rest of the word is like do you... All those times Sakura has thanked Naruto, cried over his pain, done everything to help him.. it's not because she feels a sibling bond. Those emotions match love closer than a sibling bond. Hinata is a dinky cry baby who doesn't stand a chance because Naruto is the "nerd/dork/loser" of school and Sakura is like the cheerleading captain that everyone wants to get with. Hinata has a huge smile on her face while Sakura is all touchy feely with Naruto. Complete pushover. No chance.

Sakura isn't giving Naruto false dreams. To me honostly, it looks like she is coping between confusion of sibling love, romantic love, and infatuation. Sasuke started out as infatuation of Sakura's that grew into a mixture of infatuation and sibling love of which she couldn't seem to untangle and understand her feelings. Naruto started out with dislike but soon became a big part in Sakuras feelings. Initially she chose not to admit it but her actions showed otherwise. as part of the team Naruto became part of a sibling love with her that grew into romantic love. Due to her confusion of feelings with Sasuke (who really needs to be killed off at this point)she has been unable to decipher her feelings for Naruto, but she is slowly understanding her feelings. There have been many subtle hints.

Hinata has the seemingly same infatuation for Naruto that everyone sh1ts on Sakura for having *HAD* on Sasuke. I will retract this statement if anyone can give me any real evidence to disprove this claim. The Hinata/Naruto love looks identical to me as the Sakura/Sasuke love. I also think people just root for Hinata. I don't think there could be any more of a polar opposite couple than a Naruto and Hinata. Their personalities are NOTHING alike. There is absolutely no common ground on any meaningful to provide a basis for a good relationship. Naruto's mindset almost clashes with Hinata's. In comparison, Sakura can provide much more for Naruto, not to mention she is the one he wants. There is no denying that. I'm not saying he wouldn't hypothetically give Hinata a chance; I'm simply stating the obvious since chapter 1. Ontop of all of that, Sakura does something very important that Hinata does not do. Sakura gives Naruto a reason to push forward, a reason to grow stronger. She also provides him with the support he needs to grow and obtain his goals. Hinata does not.

well basically i dont usually against naru/saku but the punch made me really hate sakura this is stupid its like she thinks of him as underling imagine some one coming home battered after a hard battle sth like this one and his wife greets him with a punch first so that u fall then give a good hug while a part of her s still wandering 4 some 1 like saske

It's Sakura's way of showing Naruto she is worried sick. Think of going out all night, coming home at 5am, not telling your wife/girlfriend where you have been for hours, having absolutely no contact. You come back battered and exhausted. Chances are your wife/girlfriend is gonna slap you for being stupid then give you loving attention. It's also her way of showing Naruto that he is not in this alone. Sakura tries desperately to help Naruto as much as she can, he chooses often not to accept help. That's his personality. He didn't have to go risk his life, Sakura would have stood their next to him without a second thought.

I think they should have made Naruto the Hokage. he just saved the whole town from complete destruction. if the council noticed what was going on outside they would have made him it. and Naruto seriously needs a better rank then Genien. if he even took the Chunin exams again, he would crush everyone. but if not him to be the 6th Hokage, then he needs to become the 7th.

when the series started sakura and all other girls just like sasuke(because of his physique,personality).

every girl feel attraction towards sasuke(infatuation)
attraction is not the real love.

so when naruto,sasuke and sakura made up into a team(team 7). they started to understand each other. they come to know about each other secret personality.
there was the time of sibling love by sakura for sasuke.

but as they grow(or story goes forward).
sakuta got more matured(with her feelings).

she now tinks not much of sasuke as lover(but has still feelings for him).

moreover in NARUTO SHIPPUDEN only naruto is everytime talking about sasuke(more than sakura)

everytime there was a trouble naruto was there to help everyone(specially if sakura was in trouble).
sakura thinks and want that sasuke saved her(but it did by naruto everytime).

now she believe in naruto his abilities and admire naruto
whenever you admire someone,then you have feelings for that person.

now sakura understand what is love(real love)
but don't no if she loves naruto or attracted towards him
simply don't understand her feelings toward naruto(or doesn't want to understand because she already has feelings for sasuke too).

she is really in confusion.

other thing why all people after danzou.he is a tactician
and wants to make konoha a village or itself a country

he wants that konoha must be that strong so it can control and show leadership over other countries and villages.

he wants to make konoha a extreme power, who will rule the all naruto world(he wants to be king of that world also)

other fact DANZOU is not madara. both have different goals and personality.

also if madara is danzou then de must not have to loss against 3rd hokage(sarutobi).

and madara is much more powerful than all the hokages
except 1st hokage(even he is stronger than 1st hokage because 1st is dead madara not).

also i don't think sasuke will kill DANZOU.
we all know that there will be a big fight between naruto and sasuke(1st hokage and madara,that fight create valley of the ends).

sonow it is the time for naruto as well as for sasuke to gain more power, learn more jutsu and techniques.

I really don't get it. What is Kishimoto trying to tell us with that scene of Sakura hugging Naruto, Hinata smiling?. It seems like she is accepting that Naruto's true love is Sakura and therefore she will take one step aside. I hope this doesn't happen given that I am NaruHina fan, but apparently that is what Kishi is trying to tell us.

I have a teory about Sakura. In Naruto, Naruto Shippuuden manga and anime we see that all of Konoha twelve has a member of his family that has an appearance but not in the case of Sakura. This in because her mother is Kushina Uzumaki so this makes her Naruto's sister. Kushina Uzumaki is hidding in Konoha perhaps with another name. This is why Masashi Kishimoto hasn't presented nothing about sakura's family so far in the story. I believe Kushina will have a role in the story in the future and she will help her son.

but after i ve given it a thought i think genin is fine 4 him imagine after the Clouds come around having such annoying character gets on narutos bad side and naruto beats them up back to front the look on their face that they got beaten down by a genin wud be awesome and kishi has a bad habit of making naruto weak at 1st to any unknown enemy (apart from this one)so genin may b good

to 12. it's possible that 'madara'has a speed faster than zetsu,.. remember sasuke vs itachi arc?? after itachi killed, zetsu said " i'll never beat your light speed " well, if zetsu could depart from konoha to the headbase so fast... then 'madara' could also do that..... well... any opinions???

#166 listen i understand all your points i think at first naruto was just a little a boy who saw the hottest girl in class then,his hormones just went a wire i still don't think naruto want to have a real relationship with sakura,if we go back in the anime naruto was just trying to prove to sakura his as good as sasuke he wanted some attention,and when sasuke left all of those crazy pranks disappear,no more asking to go in date,no more blushing,and sakura saw how much naruto grew from being so short and became even taller than her saw some facial hair on naruto's face and her hormones surface.The point is naruto and sukura their relationship is more like two teenagers who will go out for while have some fun and go back to being friends,so do not think that naruto will go with sakura or even have a baby lol.IN hinata's case this is a true love she was willing to sacrifice her self to save naruto come we haven't seen that kind of love since Jesus Christ,so hinata will fight to have naruto she will never gives up.
