The chapter says that Pain has only drained Naruto's Sage chakra, but Naruto still has one clone left and he only needs to last long enough for Ma and Pa to gather energy to perform a genjutsu. (According to the dialogue it may be only Pa that needs to focus on gathering chakra which would give Ma enough time to reverse summon the other clone - however, looking at the panel it looks as if both of them are gathering natural energy - maybe to perform the same genjutsu they did with Jiraiya?)
It sounds like Pain is unaware of how Pa toad summoned a clone to restore his Sage mode and is declaring an early vistory. Sadly - I feel like this chapter only served to prolong the battle between the two and leave Naruto with only one clone left.
I don't think that Naruto will use the 9 tails at all - he has decided not to use it at all since he hurt Sakura and his Sage training has all been about getting stronger without using the Kyuubi's power. It's also what sets Naruto aside form all the other Jinchuuriki that have battled Akatuski - the 1 tail, 2 tail, 4 tail, and (technically) the 8 tail all relied on their beast's power and all of them fell (of course we don't know about the others).
I think there will be an opportunity for him to learn how to harness it but I don't think that time will be soon.
We'll have to wait for next week...

=d Pain strong enough to send three boss toads flying across konoha but to stupid to realize that he is about to be put in a genjutsu. Only in the Naruto manga could something that stupid happen. It's funny how Pain couldn't here Fukasaku telling Naruto he was going to cast a genjutsu. I mean, he was standing about twenty yards away from them.~lol~

Makes me a little nervouse that if Naruto Can't beat Pain in sage mode, then how will he beat Saskue, Madara, or even Nagano?

hello all, i think this manga was awesome and all thanks to the creator's whiled imagination, i would say he really did and doing grate job for make up stories like that his doing. well done kishi. if any of us who are complaining shouldn't hurt that man. His trying to entertain us by wasting his time and effort. any way guy's, let not give the guy hard time just because we didn't like the way he things or imagines and make stories. if you think you can do better job than why not you start creating a whole new stories.
can't believe naruto got propelled like that. hinata hinata hinata woww she's show all the love for naruto now and she's feeling it top to bottom " go henata merry him and kick sakuras ass ok, do that for me. I thought naruto was strong but seeing pein make naruto feel pein that is way out naruto's league . naruto is done for guys, i wise i can give him some of my ninja power's.
here is my prediction, I think when naruto said don't underestimate me and fade way like that i think he knows what he's going to do. remember all the battles he had before and was getting butt kicked and at the end all sadden you see him raising up like the sun and kicking enemies butt. this time pein will know for sure what really pein is and when naruto attacks him with new cool technic.
pein thinking he is all mighty and powerful, just you guys wait to see what naruto really can do when he regains his consciousness. or could be that pa or ma will summon the other clone and naruto will use it for short while and than run of of chackar again and do sage mode by him self while moving thats what i am waiting for.

i wonder we might see other fellow konoha shinobi helping naruto for a while and than retreating ...Or we might see something different , something we all had be waiting for Minato Namikaze him self ...(yeah right) i put 10 cents on that it will like this : Naruto loosing conciseness and pain is planning to leave konoha , Naruto suddenly get his strength back and kill the other pain or he used 9 tails chakra ... And the battle is once again between God and Sage Pa will cast genjutsu naruto will eliminate pain after server cliffhangers (like 3 chapters) .

what happened was not way out naruto only trained for 2-3weeks in the mountain came back and found himself in a fight against one of the strongest ninja of the time all this time he was brushing the 6paths as though they are flies he was bound to get licked sooner or later.it would be intresting to see how he escapes pains grip frankly i think its time the villagers witness what a jinchuriki is capable of.

so in this chapter, the fat hungry ghost realm sucked naruto's sage chakra out?
i think there is a solution, one of either ma or pa could just reverse summon the remaining kagebunshin gathering sage chakra, then attack the kagebunshin to make it "go poof" and thus returning sage chakra to naruto.
btw, the hyugas are my favorite, so i hope hinata does something cool, or atleast stupid, so atleast she'll be in the story.hahaha LOL

i think in the end, naruto will be captured. Genjutsu will not work against pain because their already experience it once. pain will counter it. Pain will extract kyubi power from naruto. The fourth seal will be broken n kyubi relased n pain cannot control kyubi power. Kyubi will once again ruined the world. Naruto, pain n madara will cooperate too defeat kyubi.. even madara cannot use his genjutsu to control kyubi. thats when the hero come and save the world.. Sasuke use high level genjutsu to control kyubi... n he will be the hero..(since kishi always make sasuke character the best). Then this series will be change from naruto shipuden to sasuke shipuden....kuakuakua

Here's my prediction
grandpa and grandma frog technique will fail, that leaves naruto with one option, his clone with sage chakra. Using the last naruto clone with sage chakra he will defeat hungry ghost realm and ending up with no more sage mode and fighting god realm one on one. Then Pain will kick his butt but Naruto (as always be unpredicted)will manage to go again in Sage mode even moving (all will be surprised) and defeat God realm pain, end of fight Konoha is saved. And one more thing, I doubt the real pain will appear, the character of pain still need some flashback on what happened to them and why did they end up with twisted mind.

i was thinkin the exact same thing #28, naruto is officially stronger then hanzo, and pein was fightin hanzo under the same conditions. By that i mean pein had invaded hanzo's palace, defeated his guards, and then killed hanzo, naruto's officially one of the strongest in the manga.
also, i still hate pein and the assholes who ride his nuts every chapter, but to say dat god peins beastin on the toads wasnt the hottest shit ive seen in the past couple of chapters would be a damn lie. dat shit was crazy, and it was funny as hell, he blew the three strongest boss toads out of konoha wit ease.
moreover, aint shit gonna happen, naruto will be fine. he still has a clone in myobokuzan so if pein tries to escape right now ma and pa can jus summon it bac, and since naruto is too currently weak to hold it, the clone will automatically dispel causing all the sage chakra to go bac to naruto. if pein stays then they'll just trap him in genjutsu.
i really think dat the best move for the manga would be pein takin naruto bac to the base, i mean they cant extract the kyuubi cause the 8-tails escaped, and if they dont do the extractions in order then it'll fuck up the whole thing. at the base they'll have to jus imprison him until they get the 8-tails again, and while imprisoned he'll get to c sasuke again and they can have their faggot reunion and conversation. Naruto will probably also work on gathering sage chakra while he's imprisoned, since it only requires him stayin still to gather it. In the meantime bac at konoha, they would be rebuildin wit the sand villages help. they'll also be plannin a naruto reconnaissance mission, which gaara will ironically lead. the group the raikage sent would have already arrived, seen the destruction, and went bac to their village to tell him. In turn, he's plannin to send ninja their to capture it, this marks the beginnin of the ninja war. naruto, in the meantime would have mastered sage chakra to a whole new degree, and upon first chance of escape (which is unknown, it might be because of the reconnaissance team or etc.) he'll break out. sasuke will probably offer to recapture him, which will lead to naruto vs. sasuke round 2. in this case tho, naruto will beat sasukes ass due to the fact that naruto has itachi's gift and sage mode (and also because sas-gay is a bitch). naruto will arrive bac at konoha and c the enemy ninja jus about to begin their attack. he'll say fuck sage and jus make thousands of regular clones to beat their asses (but the raikage will then arrive and he'll use sage to whoop his ass). naruto will then be known across the five shinobi nations as "konoha's sage" and all enemy forces will be ordered to escape if they ever c him on the battlefield. then a timeskip!!!!!

naruto is redoing what he once did like transforming into a shuriken remember zabza arc only this time he did it way more uberly (he transformed into a freaking jutsu)this makes me think he'll do what he did aganst neji popping up from below leaving a clone on the scene i think smoke screen was the key who bothered to go and see weather a hole was dug there or not not pain i know that much.

Heh, It would be awesome if Pain had only gotten a clone instead of Naruto. He could have said he only had enough for the clones that are holding sage mode chakra, and was secretly having a clone ready to take a major blow. ~M I N D F U C K~
I still think Naruto will find a way out, because I doubt that the above will happen. xD
There's the idea that Ma or Pa could possibly save him with genjustu, unsummon the clone, or the big ass frogs could come back and trample Pain.
What I hope happens is either that Kakashi pops out and beats Ghost realm Pain with some sort of bad ass move(KAKASHI DOES NOT DIE!!!...EVER!), Sasuke comes out of nowhere and stabs Pain in the balls, or that Naruto opens the cage inside and lets the Kyuubi just eat everything. But if the last one happens, then alot more people could get screwed.
BTW: Is it PAIN or PEIN. I've seen both, in the other chapters I've seen it as Pein, but recently its been Pain.

the japanese translation is "pein" #41, but the english translation is "pain". there both correct but it jus depends on wat ur comfortable usin. also, #42 has a good point, danzou never wanted and still doesn't want akatsuki to get the kyubi. so there's a chance that danzou and his forces will step in.

i think theres a slight chance that pa has already started the genjutsu if you really look at the details in the last few pages.
1. ma frog says "we cant afford to let this drag on, then..." (leads me to believe that genjutsu is already done)
2. next couple frames it shows all of pains bodies which leads us to think that one of them is going to get up or maybe all of them (we all know that genjutsu is an illusionary jutsu which means that the pain bodies reviving could be part of the trick)
3. next page shows naruto with a big ? as if he were under some sort of spell (as we know pain is about to do his basho tenin though but the thing is naruto felt something before pain does his hand sign and the drawing sort of indicates that its messing with his awareness)
4. the next page shows both ma and pa with hand signs and they say "sorry naruto, just hang in there" (we all know that naruto can't do genjutsu and cant dispell it either so they might be apologizing because they know he can't so naruto is under the spell too)
Well folks thats my opinion about whats happening but maybe im just over analyzing things but whatever. go bac and read the past 2 chps, i jus noticed somthim. when naruto makes the double rasengan and uses the smoke bombs he has 2 clones and himself out, but he launches himself as a FRS at hungry ghost realm and sends one up top wit the double rasengans to kill hell realm. SO WAT THE HELL HAPPENS TO THE LAST CLONE???? it's possible that he jus dispelled it but i believe that he made him go underground and chill until he's really needed. u neva kno, the next chp we might see a clone pop up underneath god realm and knock his ass out b4 he can do shinra tensei.

#65, closing chakra points wont cause someone to die. it would simply unable the use of chakra, and thus making the person unable to fight in combat. .
and #61, i like the story, it may or may not be true, but it is a good story whenever hinata is there. she needs to be part of the story more, the spotlight hasnt shined on her in quite a while.

i think naruto will use the power itachi gave him, and i think the power sealed the fox, naruto will get hidden in gamabuntas mouth, and be in his head, there will be a sharingan seal on fox. naruto(in his head still) will use a kage bunshin inside the sealed area, so theres normal naruto and 9 tailed naruto at the same time fighting pain. itachi's power was a ultimate seal, and realse for the foxes true power. finaly, i think the fox naruto and sage naruto will make a combinned rasen shurigen to stop god realm. mean while nagato will be summoned by konan where the true pein will fight naruto.

i think in the end, naruto will be captured. Genjutsu will not work against pain because their already experience it once. pain will counter it. Pain will extract kyubi power from naruto. The fourth seal will be broken n kyubi relased n pain cannot control kyubi power. Kyubi will once again ruined the world. Naruto, pain n madara will cooperate too defeat kyubi.. even madara cannot use his genjutsu to control kyubi. thats when the hero come and save the world.. Here's my prediction
grandpa and grandma frog technique will fail, that leaves naruto with one option, his clone with sage chakra. Using the last naruto clone with sage chakra he will defeat hungry ghost realm and ending up with no more sage mode and fighting god realm one on one. Then Pain will kick his butt but Naruto (as always be unpredicted)will manage to go again in Sage mode even moving (all will be surprised) and defeat God realm pain, end of fight Konoha is saved. And one more thing, I doubt the real pain will appear, the character of pain still need some flashback on what happened to them and why did they end up with twisted mind.

i really think dat the best move for the manga would be pein takin naruto bac to the base, i mean they cant extract the kyuubi cause the 8-tails escaped, and if they dont do the extractions in order then it'll f**k up the whole thing. at the base they'll have to jus imprison him until they get the 8-tails again, and while imprisoned he'll get to c sasuke again and they can have their faggot reunion and conversation. Naruto will probably also work on gathering sage chakra while he's imprisoned, since it only requires him stayin still to gather it. In the meantime bac at konoha, they would be rebuildin wit the sand villages help. they'll also be plannin a naruto reconnaissance mission, which gaara will ironically lead. the group the raikage sent would have already arrived, seen the destruction, and went bac to their village to tell him. In turn, he's plannin to send ninja their to capture it, this marks the beginnin of the ninja war. naruto, in the meantime would have mastered sage chakra to a whole new degree, and upon first chance of escape (which is unknown, it might be because of the reconnaissance team or etc.) he'll break out. sasuke will probably offer to recapture him, which will lead to naruto vs. sasuke round 2. in this case tho, naruto will beat sasukes ass due to the fact that naruto has itachi's gift and sage mode (and also because sas-gay is a bitch). naruto will arrive bac at konoha and c the enemy ninja jus about to begin their attack. he'll say f**k sage and jus make thousands of regular clones to beat their asses (but the raikage will then arrive and he'll use sage to whoop his ass). naruto will then be known across the five shinobi nations as "konoha's sage" and all enemy forces will be ordered to escape if they ever c him on the battlefield. then a timeskip!!!!!

i think theres a slight chance that pa has already started the genjutsu if you really look at the details in the last few pages.
1. ma frog says "we cant afford to let this drag on, then..." (leads me to believe that genjutsu is already done)
2. next couple frames it shows all of pains bodies which leads us to think that one of them is going to get up or maybe all of them (we all know that genjutsu is an illusionary jutsu which means that the pain bodies reviving could be part of the trick)
3. next page shows naruto with a big ? as if he were under some sort of spell (as we know pain is about to do his basho tenin though but the thing is naruto felt something before pain does his hand sign and the drawing sort of indicates that its messing with his awareness)
4. the next page shows both ma and pa with hand signs and they say "sorry naruto, just hang in there" (we all know that naruto can't do genjutsu and cant dispell it either so they might be apologizing because they know he can't so naruto is under the spell too)

Whoever said that Naruto is stronger than Hanzo, needs to back that claim up with some proof. How quickly we forget that Hanzo single handedly defeated Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade, who were most likely in their prime when Hanzo defeated them. I know Naruto has become strong but he couldn't defeat the three sannin by all by himself. Naruto can't even defeat Pain all by himself. The only reason it appeared that Naruto was defeating Pain so easily is because Pain was not at full power and Naruto had the help of Gamabunta, Gamahiro, Gamaken, Gamakichi, Fukasaku, and Shima. If it weren't for those toads Naruto would have been captured easily. You see how strong Pain is at full power, I mean he sent the boss toads flying across Konoha like rag dolls! But despite Pain regaining his power,I believe Naruto will defeat Pain. It just won't be "all by himself" like all of the people caught up in the hype are predicting.

Hey #90, the seal Naruto uses in the anime opening is the one you they use to focus their chakra. Not that it makes any difference anyway, since it's filler...
Some people have pointed out what I think might be the key: that there could be an additional clone hanging around in Sage mode, since 3 Narutos were in the smoke cloud, and only two came out. Of course, naruto could've dispelled it, but considering that he can only do 3 kage bunshins whilst in Sage mode I doubt he'd waste one of them like that.

Just a guess...
Pain will keep on absorbing Naruto's chakra and unfortunately he will also starts to absorb the 9 tailed chakra but you know how the kyuubi's chakra has a bad effect to someones body... Pain will over do it and will be killed by the kyuubi's chakra, since pain dont have rapid healing ability compared to naruto....

naruto has no choice but to kill pain if he dosen't pain will never stop, and remember this isn't even the real pain these are just bodies, that he controls, so even if he defeats them it really doesn't matter hes going to have to fight the real one and who knows what kind of power he has, remember when he killed that attacker when he had no skill when pervy sage was training him, he could be even more powerful then the bodies he is using right now. So Naruto winning this fight has no real baring on the story, its just another developing stage for how strong naruto is becoming, really just think about it....

I bring you more spoilers of the Naruto storyline which I've just managed to steal as Masashi-Sama was sleeping:
-In 4 episodes time, Nagato and Hawk face off. Nagato absolutely anhialates the whole Hawk team, except for Sasuke, who implanted Itachi´s eyes in place of his own when he found out about the destruction of Konoha and Madara's lies about Itachi (Itachi had in fact just destroyed the Uchiha clan to test how strong he was). Nagato escapes when he realises that Sasuke is now invincible and immortal, like Madara.
-Sasuke confronts Madara about his trying to manipulate him, and Sasuke openly cries about that having caused the death of those closest to him (Suigetsu, Juugo & Karin). Sasuke activates the 4th ultimate Mangekyou Sharingan technique, and absorbs Madara's soul and his powers.
-Kabuto has been watching the fight, and after Sasuke has left the ruined battlefield, he takes Madara's eyes and implants them into his head. However, his chakra is not suficient to control the ultimate Sharingan of Madara, and Orochimaru's chakra takes control of Kabuto's body.
---Back in Konoha---
-Hinata was maimed by Pain on his attack on Konohagakure, losing control of her arms and legs. Naruto, after visiting her at the hospital for a couple of weeks, has lost interest in her, and no longer visits. This makes her plunge into crippling depresion, but she manages to further develop her Byakuugan by stalking Naruto wherever he goes. Her eyes can now see for hundreds of miles. Hinata eventually confesses to Tsunade that she has this extraordinary power due to her lust for Naruto's loins. Tsunade exploits her power by turning her into a vital part of the defenses of the village.
-Kakashi dies in episode 441. A great funeral is held, and many shinobi from around the nations come to pay tribute to the Copy Ninja. Previously though, during his autopsy, his Sharingan is removed, and kept away for study of the Sharingan's power. However, Konohamaru steals it 5 weeks after the funeral, and convinces Sakura to transplant it into his left socket, with the pretext of extending the legacy of the great protector of Konoha which was Hatake Kakashi. Shortly after the operation though, Konohamaru is corrupted by the Sharingan's power, and flees the village, only to stumble upon Zetsu. Zetsu convinces him to join forces with himself, Nagato, and Kisame, in what is left of Akatsuki.
-Shorty after the distruction of Konoha, the Raikage's elite team reach the village, and convince Naruto to undergo training with the Raikage himself, in order to control the Kyubi, just like he taught Killer Bee to do with the 8 tails. Naruto leaves the village the day after Kakashi's funeral. Just as they're about to depart, Sakura tells Naruto that she loves him. Naruto turns to her, and tells her that he knows this, and that he loves her too. They kiss. Then Naruto smiles at her, and tells her to wait for 1 year, that he will be back then more powerful than ever, and that he'll get Sasuke back once and for all.
-Neji, upon arriving with the rest of Team Gai at the ruins of Konoha, is impressed by the power the Rinnegan must have to cause so much destruction. He manages to convince Tsunade to let the Hyuuga clan investigate it's nature. What Tsunade doesn't know is that the Hyuugas plan on capturing the Rinnegan's power and fuse it with the Byakuugan's, hence creating the ultimate kekkei genkai (bloodline limit) and a generation of ridiculously powerful Hyuuga ninjas.
This I read from Masashi-Sama's notebook, where he sketches the story himself. I know it is all a bit of a mess, with no predetermined order of events, but that's the way my master works. He might make some slight changes, as he usually does, but expect most of what I've written to come up in the next few months.

I don't think the Kyuubi is going to come out, and that Naruto will fuse his sage chakra with the Kyuubi's chakra. However, it is a valid opinion, since the 9 tails making an appearance when all is going wrong seems to be the norm in Naruto.
In spite of this, I think that Naruto has moved on from those times, and he will now have nothing to do with the beast. But I must admit, I am at a loss about how Naruto will get out of this one. Will Pa & Ma complete the genjutsu? Will Naruto wake up of his own will and escape Ghost Realm Pain's grip? Is he faking? Is the real Naruto hiding? (Remember that there were 3 Naruto's inside the smoke cloud, only 2 of them came out. Naruto himself has admitted that he can only make 3 clones in battle, meaning that he is unlikely to dispell his clones just because he doesn't need them at that precise moment...)
This time I am at a loss about what will happen next. Normally I can think of things, but not this time, for some reason...

Unfortunately 170, I doubt that will happen. I say unfortunately because Hinata's character has hardly been developed at all, and the story could do with a bit more stuff on her. This is the REAL 61.
This summary of chapter 435. its an outline.
-Hinata will not die, but she is maimed.
-Naruto will go berserk, obliterating the Pein bodies.
-Nagato's ego will be shred, he will go insane.
-Kakashi is not yet dead, but will die in following chapters.
-This is a giant spark in the next Ninja War.
-Danzo's dream is never realized, he will be assassinated by Sai.
