I've read so many post and blogs about folks saying that if Naruto happens to defeat Pain they'll never read the manga ever again. My response is: If it wasn't for every one involved, Pain would have creamed Naruto from the beginning. Since Pain arrived, he's had to use considerable amount of Chakra and Stamina just to maintain an edge over the village. Then he used Shinra Tensei to level Konoha, followed by his ensuing battle with Naruto in which; he seemingly has the upper hand. Naruto isn't necessarily superior to Jiraya's over all ability, but has a larger capacity to surpass Jiraya's limit---though singularly or combined, all fall before Pain.

Dude kinda the frog even said that naruto had supassed those before him and that is not only jiraya but the forth hokage for fucks sake and what is with naruto deafeating pain (at leas his fake bodys) besides that i think that guys from village will just be able to cut of pains chakra contro and thats it

it would suck if naruto actually got captured by pain..... hopefully something unpredictable happens soon because this was my fearful dread from the beginning of the battle

Pain regenerates chakra thru god realm technique... So he is at his best fighting Sage Naruto...
